1. Prepare and Secure the Landing Zone (LZ)

Ensure the landing zone is pre‑designated, obstacle‑free, and ideally 30×30 meters or larger for safe operations. [easa.europa.eu]

2. Control Personnel Access

Conduct a daily safety briefing between pilot and ground personnel before operations. [osha.gov]

3. Ensure Correct PPE for All Ground Crew

Mandatory PPE includes:

Helmet with chin strap
Eye protection / goggles
High‑visibility vest
Hearing protection
Gloves (preferably reflective)

4. Communication & Positioning

5. During Helicopter Approach

6. Loading & Unloading Protocols

7. Fire & Emergency Readiness

8. Safety During Rotors Turning
