A healthy body needs to be able to move fluidly between different states. Hard vs soft. Fast vs slow. Intense vs low key. Free expression vs form based and structured movement. And so on and so forth. Only with a variety of training impulses can we build skill and range im different embodied states and therefore be more fully human, more flexible in responding to life and experience more freedom in our bodies and ways of being.
Gosh, I'm having so much fun, doing this. Encouraging all of you who might struggle with sraying patient when moving through sth that's difficult. My friend is a wonderful inspiration for me to just keep at it :)

Classic elbow escape exploration. There are numerous ways to do that, we're exploring how yo get from bottom position mount to full/ close guard.
In contrast to combat BJJ the Gracies are focusing more on how behave in a street fight. However, I love to explore BJJ which is more made for real self defense especially as a woman.
It's not about perfection, nor about getting anywhere. It's about enjoying the process and playing around with what you've got. Tons of possibilities await you in the tiniest movements! Be curious :)
