This is possible (without unnecessary junk food 🙃). You need to create a 7000 calorie deficit in order to lose one pound. It is possible to do this by having proper nutrition and an active life.

Let's consider the amount of calories you need to take daily to be able to continue your vital activities as 1500 kcal. This is the amount of calories your basal metabolism will burn even if you do nothing. Let's say you do 500 calories of exercise each day and burn 500 of your 1500 calories. In this case, you have created a 500 calorie deficit per day. This is 3500 calories in a week and 7000 calories in two weeks. Thus, it is quite possible to say goodbye to 1 kg in 2 weeks. :)

Metabolism is a chemical process in which the body converts what we eat and drink into energy necessary for survival. ⚡️All our collective activities, from breathing 😮‍💨 to exercising 🏃‍♀️ to everything in between, are part of metabolism.

Metabolism actually slows down by about 15% during sleep and reaches its lowest level in the morning. However, this does not mean that getting less sleep also increases metabolism. While activities such as exercise can temporarily increase metabolism, sleep cannot. 😳

First of all, the ingredients of liquid that you take during training may differ according to variables such as training intensity, type and duration. For example, only water intake will be sufficient for short-term, non-intense activities. It is recommended to use sports drinks for workouts longer than 60 minutes or for high-intensity training. 🏃

Also, if the fluids and electrolytes lost during training are not replaced after training, they will cause dehydration and muscle pain. For this reason, drinking water becomes extra important. 🫗

❔What happens in our body if we don't get back the fluid we've lost?
