There is something about strawberry vines that just makes me happy.

This pattern has vines of strawberries, flowers and leaves running through it, with little scalloped vertical lines tucked in for extra whimsy. It was designed with wallpaper in mind, the kind of print that makes a room feel soft and sweet the moment you walk in, but it adapts easily to other industries too.

It also comes in different colorways depending on your mood, more neutral tones if pink is not really your thing, or full on really really pink if it is.

Sometimes the best way to show a collection is to see it living in an actual room.

This mockup brings the whole swallows collection together, bedding, curtains, wall art and wallpaper, all in one fresh and nostalgic girl’s bedroom. Seeing the swallows, strawberries and flowers spread across a full space like this is different from seeing them one print at a time, it really shows how the collection breathes together.

Every romantic summer collection needs a ditsy floral, and here is mine.

Hand painted and sketched, small flowers scattered in a loose, easy repeat. It is the kind of print that does not shout for attention but somehow ends up everywhere once it is in a collection, on the trims, the coordinates, sometimes the whole story. This one carries the same nostalgic, whimsical feel as the rest of the collection, just in its quietest form.

This illustration is one single group from the hero ogee print, pulled out on its own. Swallows, strawberries, a heart, flowers and leaves, all sketched together in one little cluster. In the full pattern this group repeats and mirrors itself to build the whole shape, but I liked seeing it standalone too, just this one moment of the story before it multiplies into the bigger print.

It is a nice way to see the details up close, the sketchy linework, the heart shaped by the ribbon that is held by the swallows, the tiny flowers between the strawberries, the way everything sits together before the repeat takes over.

This is the hero print of the collection, and it took me the longest to get right.

A symmetrical ogee shape, swallows, bows forming a heart, strawberries, flowers and leaves all tucked inside. Sketchy lines and scaloped edges to keep that romantic, nostalgic and cottagecore feel instead of anything too polished or perfect.

It is the piece that ties the whole collection together, and it is available for licensing for kidswear, fabric, wallpaper or home decor.

A few weeks ago in Paris, I filmed swallows flying across the sunset sky. I posted that video this week, and it brought me straight back to a mini collection I made months ago and never showed you.

Swallows, flowers and strawberries, all the little signs that summer is on its way. Sketchy outlines, creamy colors, a nostalgic and romantic feel running through the whole thing. This one came together during a stretch where I wasn’t working on client projects, just making what I wanted to make, and it still might be one of my favorite collections to date.
