I used to be "the waiter" first until I slowly became "the settler" which was comfortable for a while until it wasn’t anymore.
That’s when I realised to become "the builder".

If you ask me, the best desicion ever.

6 months together with my long-distance partner and only a few weeks apart wouldn’t be possible without being a builder.

Something I really felt while being back home this time:
If my income depended on a South African salary, this trip alone would've been a financial stretch.

This is exactly why a global income mattered so much to me, neither country becomes the hard part.

But you have more opportunities in Germany', yeah, you're right.
So I built my own in South Africa instead.

The visa is still the only thing standing between me and making this permanent, but everything else?
