As part of our AM II course, the students visited our labs and machine shop and gained exciting insights into processes and materials. ⚙️

🏃🏃‍♀️ Gemeinsam beim Lousberglauf in Aachen! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃

Beim LOUSBERGLAUF powered by STAWAG, organisiert vom .aachen der RWTH Aachen mit den Studierenden der Wohnheime Rütscher Straße waren auch in diesem Jahr einige unserer Kolleginnen und Kollegen am Start. Mit viel Teamgeist, Motivation und guter Laune haben sie die 5,5 km über den Lousberg gemeistert! - Wir gratulieren allen Teilnehmenden zu ihrer starken Leistung! 👏✨

Ein besonderes Highlight für uns: In Zusammenarbeit mit den Hochschulsportzentrum der RWTH Aachen durften wir den diesjährigen Siegerpokal mittels 3D-Druck fertigen. Es freut uns sehr, dass wir mit unserem Know-how einen Beitrag zu dieser traditionellen Veranstaltung leisten können und dass unsere modernen Fertigungstechnologien auch bei regionalen Sportveranstaltungen ihren Platu finden! 🏆

Vielen Dank für das Vertrauen und die angenehme Zusammenarbeit! Auch ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Beteiligten und Helfer:innen für die gelungene Organisation! Wir freuen uns, Teil dieses tollen Events gewesen zu sein - auf und neben der Laufstrecke!🏆🏅

Congratulations, Loona! 💐

Another day, another graduate! 🎓

We are delighted to congratulate Loona on passing her exam and completing her apprenticeship as an office administrator at DAP!

Loona completed her apprenticeship in the Shared Services Group, where she got to know the organization and management of office and administrative processes!

We’re delighted that she’s staying part of the at DAP and wish her all the best for her future career.

One week ago – Girls’ Day at DAP ✨

“Magic of Materials: Your adventure into the world of additive manufacturing and metal wizardry”

As part of Girls’ Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming schoolgirls to our chair last week. For one day, they explored the world of natural sciences and research as materials testers alongside our experts.

After a short introduction and a lab tour, they gained insights into additive manufacturing and experienced hands-on tasks from the daily work in materials science.

It was great to see their curiosity and enthusiasm – we hope to have sparked their interest in STEM!

Welcome to the !
Today ,we’re welcoming Elias Dreckmann as a Research Associate in our Data Driven Design (DDD) group.
Elias got a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Vehicle Technology & Transport from RWTH Aachen, bringing a strong foundation in product development. At DAP, he will further develop these competencies in the field of Design Automation and contribute to the development and optimization of automated engineering processes.

Great to have you on board! Looking forward to working together to shape the future of data-driven additive manufacturing! 🌟

Congratulations on passing your final exam, Clara!

We warmly congratulate Clara on successfully completing her final exam as a Materials Tester with a specialization in Metal Technology.

After 3.5 years of training, Clara successfully mastered all parts of the examination and convincingly demonstrated her expertise in both the written and practical exams.

We are especially proud that Clara is the first Materials Tester in Metal Technology who completed her apprenticeship at DAP.

We are happy that Clara will continue to be part of the DAP and support us as a technical specialist.

Congratulations on this great achievement, Clara. We are proud of you!👏
