Vzdělávání mediků by mělo být v zájmu káždého studenta medicíny a budoucích zdravotníků, jelikož formuje nejen kvalitu budoucích lékařů, ale i kvalitu zdravotní péče. Stálý výbor pro lékařské vzdělávání, neboli SCOME, je jednou ze 6 stalých výborů Mezinárodní Federace Asociací Studentů Medicíny (IFMSA). Ve SCOME věříme, že studenti medicíny jsou důležití stakeholders v rozvoji lekařských vzdělávacích systémů.

Medical Education should be a concern of every medical student and future health care proffesional as it shapes not only the quality of future doctors but also the quality of healthcare. Standing Committee on Medical Education, or SCOME, is one of the six standing committees of International Federation of Medical Students' Associations. In SCOME we believe that medical students are important stakeholders in developing medical education systems.

Mental illness is not a character flaw or a personal failure.
Like diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, mental illnesses are usually biologically-based disorders and may be caused by a reaction to environmental stresses, genetic factors, biochemical imbalances, or a combination.

It is okay to have negative feelings during times of high stress and it is important to talk about them.

[Diving Medicine Summer School in Croatia]

One more useful summer school this time in Croatia!

The Summer School will be held from 2.7.-10.7.2019. and will include 12 hours of lectures held by some of the best experts in the field of hyperbaric medicine in Croatia, and a diving class after which you will be awarded an official international certificate for diving up to 18 meters.
