How do you know a university truly lives by its values?🌍
At NEWTON University, we believe that delivering high-quality education, connecting academic learning with real-world practice, and creating a positive societal impact should be demonstrated - not just declared. That is why it is important for us to benchmark our achievements against international standards.
We are therefore proud to have become the only private university from the Czech Republic to be included in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026. 🎉
One of our greatest achievements is our performance in the area of student employability and work placements, where we scored 91 out of 100. 💼 This result demonstrates that connecting academic learning with real-world experience is not just a promise at NEWTON University - it is a measurable part of the education we provide.
Our strongest performance was in the Decent Work and Economic Growth category, where we ranked in the 401-600 band. Overall, we were placed in the 1001-1500 band among more than 1,600 universities worldwide.🏆
💬 As Rector Anna Plechatá Krausová puts it:
"We have joined the ranks of universities that not only declare their values but also allow their real impact on students, graduates, employees, and society to be internationally assessed and benchmarked."
For us, this recognition is not simply an award to display. It is a motivation to continue advancing high-quality education, internationalisation, and a responsible approach to business and society.💙
