The Nancy Bishop master class has sadly come to an end. MaltaFilm would like to thank all the people involved in the organisation of this workshop and especially Nancy Bishop and guest speaker Dufflyn Lammers from Act Now L.A, for a fantastic 3 day workshop filled with priceless industry advice.
We would also like to thank all the foreign and local actors who participated and made this workshop come to life. Westin Dragonara Hotel Resort thank you for your great hospitality and wonderful location.
We look forward to doing this all again in the near future so watch this space!

Hey Everyone,
I am to officially inviting you to submit your work to the 2014
Toronto Smartphone Film Festival. I am the Production Director and
Spokesperson for the Festival this year, and the call for submissions
is now open! You have until May 4th to submit, and there are quite a
few prizes to be won including-
PRIZES
1. $1,000 (Arirang Korea Award)
2. Samsung Galaxy Note II
3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
4. $500 (Audience Choice Award)
5. New prize by KTO** (not yet decided)
It's free (yes that's right FREE) to submit, and selected candidates
will have their work screened at the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto on
May 22.
The rules are easy
A. SMARTPHONE SUBMISSIONS ONLY
1. Shoot video entirely on a smartphone device of any brand (please
specify brand(s) in the submission form).
2. Length of the video must NOT EXCEED 4 minutes.
3. Must send a short clip of the raw footage (30 seconds) used in the
final edit to prove you have shot the video on a smartphone.
