✨ Art Nouveau beauty in wire ✨
In January, our wire-wrapping club focused on an Art Nouveau necklace — flowing lines, soft curves, and details that require patience and a real feel for form.
These are some of the pieces created by my students.
Each necklace is unique, each carries its own signature… yet they all share one thing: careful craftsmanship and visible progress. 💛
The photographs were used with the kind permission of their authors.
Which Art Nouveau style speaks to you more? Delicate and subtle, or bold and expressive?
👇 Let me know in the comments which one caught your eye.

A small update, and one that made me smile. 😊
Because the heart pendant workshop was so highly requested, we decided to add another session ❤️
The additional class will take place on the same day as the opalite moon workshop, February 1.
In the morning, we will start with the opalite moon 🌙
A design that has been with me for a long time and carries its own story.
One I will save for another time.
In the afternoon, we will move on to another session for the heart pendant ❤️
Both workshops are beginner friendly.
You can join one, or spend the whole day moving through both.
If you are coming to Colors of the Stone, this will be a special day to experience these two designs in person.
The workshops will be taught by Lisa, who will guide you through both pieces. 🥰

This first workshop that we will be offering at the Colors of the Stone show will be a heart pendant. ❤️
At first glance, it might not look like anything special.
But this design has a longer story behind it. ✨
The heart is the same that students learn in my Beginner Wire Wrapping Course.
Thousands of students have worked on this exact piece online.
It is the final lesson after learning the fundamentals of wire wrapping. 🔧
For many of them, it was the first time they combined multiple techniques into one more complex design.
Up to that point, they practiced individual skills.
On this heart, everything came together. 🧩💡
That is why this design matters to me. 🧡
In the workshop, we go through the heart step by step.
The focus is not on decoration, but on structure, clean lines, and controlled wire handling.
It is a great design for seeing how small decisions in placement and tension affect the final result.
This workshop is perfect for beginners.🌱
We will take the time to look at each technique individually and then combine them into a finished piece.
Students will leave with a finished heart and a clearer idea of how to approach similar designs on their own.✨🙌
Tell me 👇
Have you done this heart pendant with me already? Or would you love to try it yourself?

This is the plan for Colors of the Stone. ✨
Every single day of the show, Lisa Leeper Saunders will be teaching at least one workshop. No quiet days, just nonstop creative wire work.

It is almost that time again 💛
Colors of the Stone in Tucson is coming up soon, and it brings back so many memories from last year ✨
Teaching there was a truly special experience. Inspiring people from all over the world, meaningful conversations at the worktables, new connections, and so many beautiful results created by my course participants.
Seeing so much skill, creativity, and craftsmanship in one place was just something really special 💎
This year, I am honored to be invited again. I won't attend myself this time, but I will still be represented 🤍
My student Lisa Saunders will be teaching in my place.

Our January theme for the wire-wrapping club :)
01/01/2026
For the new year, I wish you one thing.
Honesty with yourself.
Honesty in what you create.
Honesty in why you create.
And the courage to stop making things to please everyone, and start making things that are truly yours.
I wish you hands that are not afraid to try new things.
Eyes that can see beauty even in imperfection.
And a mind that does not talk you out of your own talent, time, or right to create.
May the new year bring fewer pieces made because they “should” exist.
And more pieces that carry strength, character, and your personal mark.
Thank you for being part of the Monsterance world.
Thank you for your trust, your courage, and your willingness to walk your own path.
Now let’s create.
Your way.
Fully.
Anna
