⚡VA meetings in the Naprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures in Prague with .conrad the other day that sparked the following discussion on postcolonial approach to ethnography and museum displays.

The VA meetings with the master's degree tutor .conrad don't necessarily happen at only . Organic shapes and sounds in the Botanic garden in Albertov, Prague 1.

💥You have two last days to see our VA group exhibition titled A Little Party Might Kill Somebody in in Bratislava! This is what the installation of the exhibition looked like almost a month ago.

In the exhibition 𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲, artists from the Visual Arts master’s program at reflect on the current political climate of Slovakia, from their own international perspectives.

"When looking at politics today, do you also sometimes feel as if you are watching satire? Except you aren’t. It could be funny in a different universe, or maybe 10 years ago, but it isn’t here and now. Nonetheless, we still use humor and amusement as a way to deal with this grim reality. It can either help to cope and empower, or it can create lightheartedness in the face of oblivion."

Another version of our poster inviting you to a one-day exhibition happening 28th March in Tukan Klub, Ústí nad Labem. Designed by , a master´s degree student at 

⚒ Legraci po práci exhibiton presenting reflects on the history of the Tukan theater (which once served as an entertainment venue for factory workers) and seeks to explore the relationship between work and recreation through the use of installation, animation, and film.

The exhibition presenting the works by the students of the Visual Arts master’s program in English at is part of the accompanying program of the Domov project organized by the House of Arts in Ústí nad Labem

During the last week´s VA meeting, the international master’s degree students from UMPRUM visited Gabriel Loci, a fomer Benedictine nunnery built at the end of the 19th century, and the artist studio of Pavel Skrot, a prolific Czech artist and an UMPRUM graduate.
