What happens when children's creativity meets technology? 🎨✨
Our second graders created their own drawings filled with original characters, creatures, and imaginary worlds. With the help of AI 🤖, their artwork gained a new dimension while keeping every idea they had put on paper. Watching their creations come to life was a memorable experience and a great example of how imagination and modern technology can work together.

Children’s Day at Beehive was all about movement, teamwork, and time spent together 🤸♀️🏃♂️. Students took part in games and challenges, then finished the day with a visit to the Book Fair, where our library received books worth CZK 8,000 📚. As the school year slowly comes to a close, we are proud of everything our students have learned and achieved along the way ✨. A big thank you to our teachers and the whole Beehive community for another year full of learning, growth, and shared experience.

Have you ever heard of oobleck? Our first graders hadn’t either! 📚 After reading Dr. Seuss’s Bartholomew and the Oobleck — a story about a kingdom covered in sticky green goo falling from the sky 💚 — the class got the chance to make their own oobleck.
Using cornstarch, water, and a drop of food colouring 🥣, the students created a fascinating non-Newtonian fluid. It behaves like a liquid most of the time, but when pressure is applied, it becomes solid 🧪. As soon as it is left alone, it slowly turns back into a liquid again.
A simple experiment, lots of curious minds, and plenty of hands-on learning ✨.

Our 2A class explored the planets in our solar system as part of their science learning 🌍🪐 After discovering interesting facts about each planet, every student chose one to research in more detail. They prepared short presentations and confidently shared their knowledge with the class 🎤✨ It was wonderful to see them teaching their classmates new things about space and our solar system 🚀

Saying goodbye to our fifth graders is always a bittersweet moment. 💛 Over the years, we shared so much more than lessons — from school trips and concerts to everyday laughter, challenges, and unforgettable memories. Watching these children grow into curious, energetic young teenagers has been a privilege for all of us. A big thank you also goes to the parents for their trust and support throughout the journey. We wish our graduates courage, joy, and plenty of excitement as they begin their next chapter. ✨

Our first-grade students enjoyed a fantastic educational trip to Toulcův dvůr where they spent the day learning about farm animals and their care in a hands-on and engaging way 🐑.
During the visit, the students met a variety of animals — and even had the chance to cuddle some of them 🤍. Taking on the role of farmers, they explored what animals need to live happy and healthy lives by checking their living conditions, learning about proper care, and understanding the importance of animal wellbeing 🌿.
It was a fun, interactive, and meaningful experience that brought learning to life outside the classroom ☀️.

Last week of April, our school came together for the annual whole-school photoshoot 📸 First, everyone gathered on the back stairs for a group photo — quite a challenge with more than 100 students and teachers fitting into one shot. After that, the photographer captured individual class photos and smaller group moments around the garden 🌿
The atmosphere was a mix of formal portraits and playful smiles, and the children clearly enjoyed the day. A big thank you to the photographer for managing it all so smoothly 👏 We can’t wait to see the final photos!

Recently, our school held a recitation competition for each grade level. Each student chose a poem in English 🇬🇧 or Czech 🇨🇿 and presented it to their classmates in the best way they could. During art lessons, students also created illustrations inspired by their poems.
The winners 🏆 of the individual categories will be presented at the Assembly in May. Thank you to everyone who participated, and congratulations to all the winners.

Scavenger Hunt in the Big Garden ☀️🌿
Classes 3A and 3B had a great time taking part in a scavenger hunt in the big school garden. The sunny weather made it even more enjoyable!
Students worked in mixed teams, combining children from both classes. This helped them build new friendships and practise teamwork. As they searched for different items, they also learned new words related to nature and spring 🌸
It was a fun and active way to learn, and everyone showed great cooperation and enthusiasm. A wonderful day for both classes! 😊

In recent days, our Year 4 students explored the theme of Earth Day across several subjects.
Together, they worked on a collaborative colouring activity, where each student contributed a small part to create one large, shared piece. This helped develop not only creativity but also cooperation and an understanding of how individual contributions form a whole 🎨
In Czech language lessons, students wrote letters to our planet. They expressed gratitude, made wishes, offered apologies for human behaviour, and asked thoughtful questions. The result was a collection of sincere and reflective texts that show how deeply children think about the world around them 💚
The Earth Day theme was also integrated into mathematics lessons, where students practised their skills through Earth-themed problems 📐
