LŠSS, kterou organizuje Ústav bohemistických studií Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze, je určena pro zahraniční slavisty a bohemisty, kteří se na ní seznamují s českým jazykem, českou literaturou, kulturou, historií i současností. Obsahem měsíčního intenzivního kurzu je program výukový (5 hodin výuky 5 dní v týdnu, účastníci jsou rozděleni podle vstupních znalostí češtiny do čtyř stup
ňů), kulturně společenský (odpolední vycházky po pražských pamětihodnostech, sobotní a nedělní exkurze a výlety) a večerní v klubovně na koleji (zpívání českých písní, poslechové večery české hudby, česká filmotéka) . The Summer School of Slavonic Studies is organised by the Institute of Czech Studies at the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. The Summer School is aimed at foreign students of Czech Studies and its goal is to introduce the students to Czech language, literature, culture, history and current events. The month-long programme features an intensive course of Czech for Foreigners - 5 lessons a day, Monday to Friday, Beginners to Upper Intermediate - and a cultural programme consisting of afternoon and weekend sightseeing trips in Prague and other remarkable cities and sights. The students live in a dormitory, where they get their meals and have a daily evening cultural programme of singing and listening to Czech songs and watching selected Czech films.
