Four years into our operation, we have to address the formidable challenge of coronavirus which has now evolved into a pandemic, visiting its wrath on many countries in the world. This is the litmus test to our ability to deal with a crisis and emergency. This is the time for us to demonstrate our adaptability, resilience, responsiveness, and relevance. It is very clear that once this crisis is over many people will be unemployed, many companies will have filed for insolvency and a huge economic cost will have been incurred. On the way there people will look for who is responsible and if we are not very careful there will be a blame game. That is the big danger.

We are setting up a strategy and service forum for the new ambassadors.The best smartlink regional ambassadoar of the year shall receive a token prize and will have an opportunity to attend the 2018/2019 UN Winter Assembly in New York in january 2019.
Applications should be sent to,[email protected] at a date not later than 1/07/2018,1600 GMT,so as to allow for the necessary visa arrangements.only 10 youths will be sponsored for the event.
