FTC Team Watts Up

Today we went to the Oranje Nassau shool, an elmentary school near us, to tell the kids about FTC and let them drive with our robot. It was great to do and everyone learned a lot and had a good time :)
This school also has a chance to go to St. Louis with a Jr. FLL team, but infortunatley they don't have the sponsoring. Please do let us know if you have any sponsoring ideas or would like to sponsor them yourself!

The day went great today! The robot did a lot better than expected and we even made it to the semi finals :) At the end of the day we won the Think award, which we are very happy with!Tonight we are going to enjoy our last night in Prague and then fly back tomorrow at 1pm. We will post some pictures of the day soon! A big thank you to everyone who supported us today and who watched the livestream! Also a huge thanks to the organization International School of Prague and all the amazing volunteers :) The host families and the entire event was amazing! we hope to be back next year!

Aftet seeing a bit of Prague yesterday, we are now at the international school again. The first competition day has started! Our engineering notebook has been handed in and the robot is still being worked on... Presentation for the jury at 15:00.

We have arrived at the International School of Prague and just finished setting up our pit! Looking forward to the rest of our time here :) We'll keep you updated!

Our pink suits have arrived, the shoes have been bought and the dresses have been tried on. Our outfits are ready for the finals in Prague.

Some last work on the program and the robot has to be done before our flight on Thursday, but we are all very excited and can't wait for the trip!

These two weeks we have moved our workplace from school to Laura's house, where we set up the playing field yesterday. We are happy to be able to keep working, because a lot still has to be done! These following days we will be gathering here very often to work on the robot.

Here are some pictures of us at the First Lego League tournament in Rotterdam, and we are happy to say that there are a lot of people interested in our demo! :)
The tournament is organized very well and we are happy to be able to tell all these great FLL teams about what they can do in the future: FTC.

Sinterklaas is over, so it's time to decorate the room for Christmas ;) And work on the robot of course!

It has been a while since we have last updated you, so here are a couple new things:
Saturday the 28th of November we were present at the First Lego League competition in The Hague. We gave a demo and showed younger children how FTC worked.
Tomorrow, the 11th of December, we are going to the FLL competition in Rotterdam to do the same there.

And, some BIG news! We will not only be attending the finals in Eindhoven (April 1 and 2), we also have the amazing opportunity of attending the finals in Prague! We will be going there in February, and are all really looking forward to the competition and the trip :)

We are lucky enough to have the playing field set up at our school again this year!
If any FTC teams want to come practice on the official field, just message us or mail us at [email protected] and we will set a date.
