European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine

At the 2026 EFLM Strategic Conference, a dedicated session focused on young scientists in laboratory medicine: Young Scientists, Visibility, Communication and Education. Four passionate and highly engaged young scientists delivered insightful and inspiring presentations on topics of great relevance to the future of the profession.

Following the presentations, an interactive roundtable discussion was held, encouraging audience participation and lively exchanges on the topics presented.

One day before the EFLM Strategic Conference, the EFLM Committee Young Scientists Networking Event, supported by Beckman Coulter, brought together young scientists and experienced professionals in laboratory medicine for an evening of insightful discussions and connections.

Participants engaged in four expert-led roundtable sessions focused on key topics relevant to early-career professionals in laboratory medicine

After the roundtables, participants continued connecting, sharing experiences, and exchanging ideas throughout the evening. It was a wonderful and inspiring start to the EFLM Strategic Conference for Young Scientists in Laboratory Medicine!

The conference was preceded by the EFLM Committee Young Scientists Networking Event, supported by Beckman Coulter.
During the main conference, an entire session - Young Scientists: Visibility, Communication and Education - was dedicated to topics essential for the professional growth and development of young scientists.
