European University Cyprus installed a 90kWp power capacity photovoltaic system on the roofs of the east and south buildings of the Campus. The project was completed in cooperation with Total Solar Solutions Ltd and Johnsun Heaters Ltd. With this
* Approx. 41,33 tons of fuel oil will be saved annually
* The emission of pollutants in the atmosphere will be reduced by almost 100 tons per year.

Σήμερα είναι η Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Αποχής από το Κρέας και είναι μία καλή ευκαιρία να ξεκινήσεις μία σημαντική αλλαγή για τον εαυτό σου αλλά και για ολόκληρο το σύστημα διατροφής. Σκέψου ότι αν 10 εκατομμύρια πολίτες (στην Ελλάδα είμαστε 11 εκατ.) δεν κατανάλωναν κρέας μόνο για μία ημέρα, αυτό θα εξοικονομούσε:
- 23.067 στρέμματα γης
- αρκετό νερό για να γεμίσουν 5.000 πισίνες Ολυμπιακών διαστάσεων
- όσο CO2 θα εξέπεμπε ο γύρος του κόσμου με αυτοκίνητο 2.438 φορές
