1972
The company founder and current honorary president of the Board of Directors, Mr Chris mouzouris, returns to Cyprus from his long stay in the U.K. and leases a retail shop in Ledras Str. The purpose is the sale of perfumes and cosmetics to the public.
1976
Chis Mouzouris buys Krisby Trading Ltd. A company in the hairdressing supplies market.
1978
Arvo Trading Co Ltd is established. The new
company absorbs all operations from the retail shop and Krisby Trading that are directed to the professional hair sector. Chris Mouzouris Ltd is established. This sister company diversifies to the perfume and cosmetic retail market.
1979
Business cooperation with Maletti SpA is launched. This will develop into the company’s most lasting relationship which is still growing strong.
1982
Move to newly owned premises at Gevgelis Str, Nicosia.
1986
Business cooperation with the Japanese Multinational Takara - Belmont is launched. The Belmont Group is the biggest supplier of salon and barbers furniture in the world.
1988
Business cooperation with the Dutch hair product manufacturer Keune Haircosmetics is initiated. Keune is one of Europes’ biggest private manufacturer of professional hair products
1993
Savvas Mouzouris, the current CEO and Director, returns from his studies in the USA and joins the company.
1996
Numerous upgrades and exclusive agreements are initiated during the Cosmoprof exhibition. The agreements with these suppliers still remain the backbone of the company’s hair accessories and novelties Department.
1997
Arvo Trading expands its operations to cover all major cities and areas of Cyprus
1998
Arvo Trading expands the showrooms and offices at its Nicosia premises. The new area covers more than 500 sq.m. of showroom space and offices and 250 sq.m. of warehousing facilities.
2000
Arvo Trading enters into agreement with Powersoft computer solutions. All operations are computerized and Powersoft becomes the company’s Information Technology partner.
2002
Joewell scissors are added to the product list.
2006
New warehousing facilities are opened to accommodate the increased volume of logistics.
2008
The newest member of the Arvo family of products, the Denman Brushes are added.
2009
"Salon Professional" the company’s first analytical product catalogue is inaugurated. The development process will last 10 months.
2010
On March 2010 the first edition of the "Salon Professional" catalogue is mailed out to more than 3,000 professional hairdressers in Cyprus. This 294- page catalogue illustrates in detail the services, products and support that the company offers to the professional hairdressers.

Arvo goes on line. All products are available for online purchasing at www.arvo.com.cy

Arvo upgrades its computer software. This includes the new ERP platform from Powersoft that enables the company to strengthen its control. The new modules include the supply chain, accounting services and customer monitoring as well as mobile promotion solutions
