Welcome to DEMETRA Project's page.
DEMETRA, an Erasmus+ co-funded project, was developed as a response to the need for creating the necessary tools for educating women on agricultural entrepreneurship and enabling them to develop entrepreneurial skills and mindsets they will, later on, employ for developing agripreneurial activity.

Well done our youngsters, we were so happy to have you with us. BIOTIFUL team is the youngest team that participated in the Young Agripreneurs Programme and managed to get the third place. Their idea for developing cultures based on the permaculture method with respect to Mother Nature, left a great impression both on the audience and the evaluation committee. BIOTIFUL the future is in your hands and looks very promising.

Therappia is the name of the app that won the 2nd award on the StartUp Competition for the Young Agripreneurs Programme. AGROW team from MIEEK (Public School of Higher Vocational Education and Training) designed an application for smart management and precision for professional industry farmers, organic farmers and even simple gardeners. Meet our winning team on the Young Agripreneurs StartUp contest: PERCYSTENT (People Evolved in Research in Cyprus with Sustainable and Environmentally New Technologies in Agriculture), proposed to create a smart labeling system for agricultural products based on their environmental trace and the protection of Biodiversity. Congratulations PERCYSTENT, it was an absolute pleasure working with you on this project.

It was such a pleasure to see you all there at the Conference and Expo. We had such an interesting day with all speakers adding to our knowledge on CAP and offering insights about what it has to offer. A valuable addition to the whole even was the presence of all teams that participated in the Young Agripreneurs Programme. Our teams had the chance to present their ideas and network with agricultural entrepreneurs and stakeholders in order to promote their ideas.
