Η Κύπρος κατατάσσεται τελευταία στην ΕΕ στη συμμετοχή γυναικών στο κοινοβούλιο, με μόλις 14,3%, αναδεικνύοντας την ανάγκη για άμεση ενίσχυση της ισότητας και της εκπροσώπησης.
Για αυτό το πρόγραμμα μας έχει σημαντικό ρόλο να διαδραματίσει για την αλλαγή και την ισότιμη εκπροσώπηση 💪

Τελευταία στην ΕΕ η Κύπρος στη συμμετοχή γυναικών στο κοινοβούλιο - Μόλις 14,3% η εκπροσώπηση Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία της Eurostat, το ποσοστό των γυναικών στο κυπριακό κοινοβούλιο το 2015 ανερχόταν στο 12%, καταγράφοντας μικρή αύξηση, μόλις, 2 π.μ. σε 10 χρόνια

Yesterday, 9 incredible girls graduated from the Young Female Leaders Larnaca program 💫

Over the past months, they learned what leadership truly means:
to navigate uncertainty,
to think twice (and three times) before making decisions,
to collaborate, create, and organize,
to say no when needed,
to work under pressure,
and to express themselves confidently in a safe and supportive environment.

They became more than participants.
They became a team. Friends. A little family.

Young Female Leaders is not just a program.
It is a safe place they can always return to when they need strength, courage, and belief in themselves.

Leadership. Persistence. Resilience.
And so much more.

We are honoured to welcome as the Keynote Speaker at this Saturday’s Young Female Leaders Graduation Ceremony! 🌟

Vasileia is an internationally-acclaimed Cypriot visual artist and creator, whose work has been shown in major cultural hubs including London, New York and Cyprus. Born in Larnaca, she holds degrees in Politics and History from the University of Nottingham and Goldsmiths College (UK), and trained in Fine Art in London and at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her artistic journey blends deep academic research with creative exploration, and today she continues to push boundaries as a Ph.D. candidate in Gender Studies at the University of Cyprus. 

Vasileia’s work challenges us to rethink identity, memory and expression, a powerful voice for young leaders shaping the future.
