My name is Leonie, I’m 19 years old, and I’m from Germany 🇩🇪

I joined the DOREA Team as a Digital Marketing Assistant! I’m currently studying Communication Science at the University of Münster, and I decided to do my internship in Cyprus, mainly because of the amazing weather (of course 😌), but also because I was ready for a change of scenery. New people, new challenges, new experiences. It’s my first time working abroad, and I’m super excited for the next two months. I truly believe this internship at DOREA will help me to grow and develop my skills.

Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, the whole process was very easy and well-organised. I also received helpful support in finding a shared apartment (Erasmus Hall).

On the International Day for Digital Learning, we’re reflecting on how digital education can create stronger, more accessible public learning opportunities for all.

At DOREA, this connects closely to our work. Through our digital learning spaces, we aim to build online learning opportunities that are practical, inclusive and based on real educational and social needs.

𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 is already live, offering online learning for youth workers around intercultural understanding, sensitivity, and communication. 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐒, coming soon, will provide digital learning spaces focused on mental health support in migrant communities, as well as training for educators, support workers, and NGO staff. 𝐀𝐈-𝐀𝐃𝐔, also coming soon, is creating practical AI learning opportunities for adult educators and staff.

Sometimes, the most valuable learning experience is the one that reminds us to slow down a little. 🌿

Last week in 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐚, DOREA hosted the Erasmus+ staff mobility course 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭. Throughout the week, participants explored stress from a broader perspective, reflected on the causes and effects it can have in professional life and discovered practical ways to cope more effectively.

For people working in education, this matters deeply. We spend so much time supporting others that our own well-being can easily be pushed aside.

🌍 The world has been feeling heavy lately. Conflicts, crises, uncertainty - it can all take a quiet toll on our well-being.

For many educators, support workers and community professionals, this emotional weight doesn’t just stay personal. It often shows up in the work we do with others.

Small grounding practices - pausing, stepping outside for fresh air, writing things out or connecting with someone we trust - can help us slow down and create a little space when things feel overwhelming.

Through the 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐬+ 𝐊𝐀𝟐 “𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐒” 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭, we focus on strengthening mental health awareness and trauma-informed approaches for educators and migrant support workers, helping them navigate sensitive conversations and support others in difficult contexts.

Sometimes, taking care of our own well-being is where meaningful support for others begins.

☕ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐈 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤?

As part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “AI Youth Navigator”, we are launching a new series of AI Coffee Breaks - short and informal online meetups where youth workers can explore artificial intelligence together.

Across these meetups, we will introduce practical AI tools, discuss real-life applications in youth work and create space for questions, exchange and experimentation.

We are starting with a session designed especially for those who feel curious about AI but also a little overwhelmed by all the buzz.

Every training week brings together educators and administrative professionals from across Europe.

Through workshops, discussions and shared experiences, participants explore new approaches and gain practical tools they can apply in their own institutions. These exchanges often spark new ideas that continue long after the training week ends.

Hello Everyone, my name is Dianna.  I live in Germany, but I am originally from Armenia 🇦🇲.

I joined the DOREA team as a digital Marketing assistant intern for 6 months. Currently, I am a student at the Euroakademie Akademie Hannover, working toward my European Business Manager degree. 🤓

I already hold a degree as a commercial assistant in languages, but I wanted to improve both my language skills and my digital knowledge.🥸 That is why I decided to pursue this second degree, which I will complete in six and a half months. 🤩

I joined the DOREA team because when I saw the Advertisement for the position, I was very interested in the company and its work.  Since I love to travel and see the world, I thought doing an internship in Cyprus would be a wonderful opportunity to grow my skills and learn more about digital marketing.😄

Although this is my first time working abroad, I previously completed a marketing internship in the automotive industry. There, I handled social media posts, conducted market research for various occasions, and managed posting schedules.  

Now I’m here with the help of Erasmus, and I’m looking forward to this experience. ☀️

       

A few weeks ago in Larnaca, we spent five inspiring days exploring one of the most talked-about topics in education today: Artificial Intelligence.

During our Erasmus+ staff mobility training “𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”, participants experimented with AI tools, discussed ethical questions and shared real experiences from their institutions.

What made the week truly special was the exchange of perspectives - how education professionals across Europe are approaching AI, its opportunities and its challenges.

During our 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 training, participants discussed real challenges - from AI misuse to data protection and responsible online behaviour across schools and universities.

What became clear? Digital safety touches every level of an institution.

I recently joined the DOREA Team as a Digital Marketing Assistant for a 6-month internship 🚀

I graduated from Euroakademie Erfurt with a degree in Business Management and Accountancy, specialising in International Affairs 🎓

This internship is a required part of my degree, and I’m really happy that I can complete it here while improving my digital marketing skills and especially my English 💻📚

I chose Cyprus because I love the amazing weather ☀️🌴 and the warm, friendly people here 💙

I’m super happy to be in Cyprus and to start this new chapter 🌍✨

The holidays bring moments of joy, but for many, they can also increase pressure and loneliness. This is especially true for migrants and refugees who are navigating a new culture, language and system, often far from their home support networks

Through our 𝐄𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐬+ 𝐊𝐀𝟐 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐒, we aim to
empower migrants, educators and communities to foster inclusive mental health support through education, peer mentoring and local networks.

𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐒 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲:
• 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 migrants as Lay Mental Health Advisors.
• 𝐔𝐩𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 educators who work with migrant communities.
• 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 local peer-support networks.

Our resources and training programmes will be finalised and available on pharoserasmus.eu next year. We will begin piloting free courses in partner countries in 2026.
