A huge thankyou to our amazing community for all of their support of the County Week Car Wash / Bake Sale fundraiser.

The combined event raised over $4400 that will go towards lowering the cost of the trip for students.

Thankyou again to the following that helped make the event happen:

• Indian Ocean Territories Health Service for running their flu vaccination tent.
• Westpac Bank and Water Corporation for allowing us use of their carpark and water.
•Michelle and the Post Office for being so accommodating with us using the lawn area.
• Vanessa, Raylene, and Mel for stepping up and helping with traffic management.
• All of the mums that helped run the bake sale stall.
• All of the dads that provided security of the bake sale stall.

As fate would have it, Jonno was winner of the Krispy Kreme raffle!

May recycling challenge ♻️
May is the month for recycling batteries. Did you know up to 95% of a battery’s components can be recycled? However, only about 3% of batteries actually get recycled!

Let’s reduce our waste! Please put your used batteries in the red tub in the recycling station. The batteries are sent to the mainland for recycling.🔋
