In Frailes, coffee is grown with deep roots. ☕🌿
Surrounded by mountains, coffee plantations, and lush landscapes, every bean carries a story of hard work, tradition, and love for the land.

Here, coffee is more than a drink: it is part of a community’s identity, where generations have learned to live in harmony with nature and pass down the art of growing and enjoying a truly good cup of coffee. 🤎

A sip of Frailes… and a story that begins in the mountains.

Beneath the surface of Barra Honda National Park lies a fascinating hidden world. 🌿🦇

The park protects Costa Rica’s most important limestone cave system, with more than 40 caves discovered, although only a few have been fully explored. Inside, it’ll find spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and rock formations shaped over millions of years.

But Barra Honda’s wonders don’t end underground. Its tropical dry forest is home to howler monkeys, white-tailed deer, coatis, and a remarkable variety of bird species, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

A place where every step uncovers another hidden wonder beneath the earth. ✨

Located on the slopes of Irazú Volcano, this forest blends historic cypress and pine plantations with the natural regeneration of native cloud forest, providing a sanctuary for birds, mammals, and an incredible diversity of plant life.

More than just a hiking destination, Prusia is a reminder of nature’s beauty and its remarkable ability to renew itself. 🍃✨

Have you ever heard the call of the “pájaro bobo”? 🌿🐦

Known for its unmistakable call, which sounds like a series of whistles or a soft laugh, the Blue-crowned Motmot is one of the most fascinating birds found in the forests of Costa Rica.

One of its most distinctive features is its long tail, ending in two racket-shaped feathers that it gently swings back and forth like a pendulum. This graceful movement helps with communication and may also distract potential predators.

With its brilliant shades of blue, green, and turquoise, spotting one in the wild is an unforgettable experience. 💙🌿
