Titan and I go way back!

🌗 Between What Was and What Will Be
This month, I’m exploring The Threshold between dualities — that mysterious place between - between the Last Time and The First Time. The threshold is not a void—it’s a womb.

From parables to a near-legendary zipline story in Costa Rica, this piece is about courage, choice, and the alchemy of change.

When we stop holding on to what’s complete, we reclaim the energy to create what’s next.

Some places don’t just change your view—they change your rhythm. The Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica is one of those rare places. Here, the rainforest meets the sea—where ecosystems merge into one vast living expression of Earth itself.

Our new home in Costa Rica is near the Osa, and I’ll admit: it’s one of my favorite places on the planet. Living there full-time would be nearly impossible—its remoteness and wildness make daily life a challenge. Yet it’s exactly those qualities that make the Osa unforgettable. To arrive is to be transformed.

One of the only ways in is by riverboat, winding down the Sierpe River. On my first trip there—back in 1993—I traveled with my sisters in a dugout canoe carved from a massive Ceiba tree. The boat was long and narrow, with a small motor fixed to the back. Along the way, we picked up live chickens and even a small pig! We were all tucked in together, laughing and swaying as the canoe carried us closer to the Pacific.

I’ll never forget the moment the river gave way to the open sea. Our driver timed the entrance into the Pacific with the incoming waves, guiding us smoothly into the ocean. I told myself over and over, biting my nails: They do this every day. Trust the journey. Soon, we pulled alongside a dock, where men helped tie up the canoe and unloaded the chickens and the pig—supplies for the lodge’s chef we discovered! In that moment, I half expected Mr. Roarke and Tattoo from Fantasy Island to appear and announce, “Welcome!” Our adventure had just begun.

That trip changed me. At the time, I was an NICU nurse working endless hours, holding out for a few weeks of vacation each year. But the Osa called me back to myself. It reminded me what it meant to belong to this Earth—not just to live on it, but to be an Earthling. In many ways, it was the catalyst that eventually led me to leave the United States and root my life in Costa Rica.

Now, I’m inviting you to join me in this unforgettable place.

From Rats to Reiki 24/06/2025

🌀 NEW EPISODE | Season 2 Premiere! 🎙️
“From Rats to Reiki” is LIVE on Benevolent Journeys! 💫

What happens when science meets energy? When a tenured professor listens to the call of something deeper?

Dr. Ann Baldwin, PhD, made a shocking discovery in her lab: the inflammation in her research rats wasn’t caused by a substance—it was caused by stress. That realization changed everything. She walked away from her tenured position at the University of Arizona to follow a path of healing, energy, and coherence-until the U of AZ was ready for her return!

Now a Reiki Master, HeartMath trainer, and featured guest on Amazon Prime’s Bliss Up, Ann joins me for a powerful conversation about:

🧠 The science of stress and energy
💓 Heart-focused breathing and the human-horse connection
🐴 Biofeedback from a 1,200 lb healer
📉 Why heart rate variability reveals more than we realize
🌿 And how giving up everything familiar can lead us home

✨ This episode is a masterclass in courage, coherence, and connection. You don’t want to miss it.
