Yes! Music theory is an important part of our musical journey. So last night we had one of our epic JDR Music theory classes to prepare for the music teachers association theory test in February! We try to make it a really fun and valuable class! And happily received the attached text from one of the student’s parents!!!

Awesome news today! Yesterday was the GDYO Philharmonic competition… and… from 27 competitors, our student, 15 year old violinist Andrew Park was selected as the winner, performing the third movement of the Mendelssohn violin concerto! Great job Andrew! Your hard work has paid off!! Andrew will be the soloist at the first concert of the 2025-2026 season! Can’t wait to hear this!
