The Colombia Mission Project is based in the US and helps charities in Colombia which help displaced Currently (2014) there are 28 children.
Students of the Light is a NGO which primarily serves displaced children or desplazados from the civil war in Colombia. The children arrive to SOTL in extreme poverty and are traumatized. They suffer problems of malnutrition, or from child abuse (including rape), and have substandard, if any schooling, among other issues.
