March 13, 2026 – Santo Tomas, La Union

Cupang Integrated School participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (First Quarter 2026) on March 13, 2026 to help students and teachers practice what to do during an earthquake.

The drill was conducted with the assistance of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Santo Tomas and evaluated by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Santo Tomas.

A highlight of the activity was the rescue demonstration by selected students, who showed how to safely assist and carry injured victims during an emergency. This helped learners understand the importance of teamwork and quick response during disasters.

School Principal Dr. Marilyn Eslabra expressed her appreciation to MDRRMO Santo Tomas and BFP Santo Tomas for guiding and evaluating the drill. She also encouraged students and teachers to always stay prepared for emergencies.

The activity helped strengthen the awareness and readiness of the whole school community in responding to earthquakes and other disasters.

February 16, 2026 — Cupang Integrated School successfully conducted the Christian Values Recognition Program in partnership with All Christian Foundation, Inc. (ACF) at the school’s covered court.

The activity aimed to recognize selected learners who demonstrated exemplary Christian values and outstanding moral character throughout the school year. The program featured an opening prayer, welcome remarks from the School Head, Dr. Marilyn V. Eslabra, a message from ACF representatives, the awarding of medals to the Best in Christian Values awardees, and a thanksgiving message.

The event highlighted the school’s continued commitment to values formation and character development among its learners. Faculty members, students, and guests gathered in celebration of the awardees’ achievements and shared in a moment of gratitude and inspiration.

The administration expressed its sincere appreciation to All Christian Foundation, Inc. for its partnership and unwavering support in promoting Christian values within the school community.
