Este año tuve la oportunidad de participar de nuevo en una cohorte de la Setuyuman: Escuela para Desaprender (Volver al Origen) en los Pueblos Kankuamo y Kogui, Sierra Nevada, Colombia. Estuve junto al profe Camilo Pérez Quintero y un grupo de estudiantes del Jui Shikazguaxa Laboratorio de Comunicación para la Innovación Territorial del Programa de Comunicación Social y Periodismo - Universidad del Norte. El compa Daniel Maestre, junto a Nakogui Cenejan y sus hijos Bunkwa y Awyan y su asistente Nicanor (quien nos protegía de los ataques del pato). Y la gran maestra, la bella e ingeniosa niña Aluna.
Un momento más para profundizar en las raíces del conocimiento ancestral sobre la madre tierra y en la importancia de la conexión con el territorio para poder entender que el cuidado debe ser el eje y sentido de la humanidad.
Ojalá mis colegas tengan la oportunidad de participar con sus estudiantes en próximas cohortes.

This year I had again the opportunity to participate in a cohort of the School for Unlearning, "Setuyumán" (Return to the Origin) in the Kankuamo and Kogui Peoples, Sierra Nevada, Colombia. I was with Professor Camilo Perez Quintero and a group of students of the "Jui Shikazguaxa Collaboratory" (talking from inside, from home) of the Social Communication and Journalism Program of the Universidad del Norte. Daniel Maestre, with Cenexan Nacogui and his sons Bunkwa and Awyan and his assistant Nicanor (who protected us from the attacks of the duck). And the great teacher, the beautiful and witty girl Aluna.
One more moment to deepen in the roots of ancestral knowledge about mother earth and the importance of the connection with the territory in order to understand that care must be the axis and meaning of humanity.
I hope my colleagues have the opportunity to participate with their students in future cohorts.
