中山市华侨中学是中山市重点中学。1954年由旅美归侨创办，一直得到校董会董事长蔡继有先生等华侨港澳同胞的大力支持。学校占地236亩，拥有南北两个校区（分设初、高中部），110多个教学班，学生6000多人。在400多名教师中人才荟萃，涌现了中山市十杰市民、全国教育系统劳模、全国优秀教师、省级优秀教师、中山名师及学科带头人等一大批骨干力量。现在华侨中学已成为省内外知名的广东省一级学校。
