Yangzhou High School of Jiangsu Province Yangzhou High School of Jiangsu Province(江苏省扬州中学), is a Chinese national model high school.

Yangzhou High School was founded as Yidong School in 1902, and has been renamed and relocated several times during its history. It is honored as a national model school and a provincial key school, both testaments to a distinguished history of achievement. Among the school’s more well-known graduates are Jiang Zemin, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Chairman of

the People's Republic of China, Zhu Ziqin, a distinguished writer, scholar and democratic fighter, Wu Zhengyi, winner of the State Highest Science and Technology award, and over 40 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering.
