Xiamen Foreign Language School (Chinese: 厦门外国语学校) is a secondary and senior high school in Xiamen, Fujian, China, which was founded in December 1981. As one of the 16 foreign language schools, Xiamen Foreign Language School (XMFLS) is qualified to recommend 20% of its graduates for admission to nationa

l key foreign studies or foreign language departments of comprehensive universities. The senior high school covers an area of 81000 square meters with art and teaching buildings, conference rooms and boarding houses as well as various sports facilities, such as gyms and swimming pools. Among the 240 teachers, 2 of them have Doctor degrees and 40% have master degrees. Nearly half of the 70 foreign language teachers have been sent abroad for further studies. At present, XMFLS provides 4 foreign language courses, including English, French, German and Japanese. XMFLS has been in the limelight the last few years for its graduates’ excellent performances in national matriculations and competitions at various levels.

Xiamen Foreign Language School requires two native English-speaking instructors to teach Oral English to students between the ages of 12 and 18 beginning in September, 2016. The school provides free living accommodation, basic medical insurance, vacation allowance and air ticket allowance based on a full academic year’s service. A bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite and applicants with a TESOL certificate or teaching experience are priorities. The description of the position is as follows. Hi all US alumni!

Youth Orchestra of Xiamen Foreign Language School is coming to the States! We will be performing on both coasts, Baltimore MA and Cupertino CA. Time and location are included in the flyers. Celebrate lunar new year with alumni, great music and the Alma Mater! Please come and show your support!

We will be touring around the country for about a week, odds are that we can meet up at different locations. Follow-up trip details are going to be post on Youth Orchestra of Xiamen Foreign Language School. Follow us and don't miss out!
