As the academic year comes to a successful close, the International Students' Representative Body (ISRB-SUST) wishes to extend our warmest regards to every student returning home and embarking on their well-deserved break!

A special farewell to our esteemed President Beulah Favour Kargbo , who has travelled back to her home country to begin her holiday. We wish you blue skies, safe travels, and a joyful reunion with your loved ones. You have led us with grace, and we hope this holiday brings you the peace and happiness you deserve. 💙

A Presidential Farewell Rooted in Love, Pride & Inspiration

In her closing remarks at the Graduation Dinner Party, the Current President of the International Students’ Representative Body (ISRB–SUST) Madam Beulah Favour Kargbo delivered a moving farewell that captured the heart of our community.

Addressing our graduating scholars, she reflected warmly on the deep bonds of friendship formed during their time at SUST:

"The friendships you’ve built here are irreplaceable. SUST will always be your home, and ISRB will always be your family." 💙

With evident pride, she reminded the graduates that their journeys marked by resilience, growth, and unity have set a powerful example for those still on their academic path.

Turning to the new students, her words were both encouraging and challenging:

"Let this be your inspiration. Work hard, stay united, and one day, we will celebrate you just like this."

She closed by expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the event a success the executive body for their tireless service, the international student community for their unwavering support, and every guest who came to honor the graduates.

Under her leadership, ISRB–SUST has grown into more than a representative body it has become a family bound by purpose, pride, and shared dreams. We honor her for fostering such a nurturing, inspiring, and united community.

🎓 Legacy, Unity & a Pan-African Family: Reflections from Our Former President Ibrahim Tunkara

During his heartfelt graduation reflection speech, our esteemed Former President of the International Students’ Representative Body (ISRB–SUST) reminded us of the very soul of this body:

“ISRB was founded under the umbrella of unity and oneness. Being here has given us all a rare opportunity to meet different people, to make lifelong friends, and to build a network that spans a continent.”

His words beautifully captured what makes our community unique:

🤝 Unity in diversity students from every corner of the world, bound by mutual respect.

A Pan-African promise “Now, you can travel to any part of Africa, call a friend you met here, say ‘I’m coming,’ and you will be welcomed in good spirit.”

That is the true power of the friendships forged at SUST.

We pause to celebrate his exemplary leadership. Under his tenure, he cultivated an atmosphere of inclusion, warmth, and purpose laying a strong, stable foundation for the current executive team to build upon and continue the good work.

As he graduates and begins this new chapter, we honor not only his personal achievement but also the lasting legacy he leaves behind: a united student body, a culture of service, and a continental family that will welcome us home wherever we go.

On the 19 June 2026, the International Students Representative Body (ISRB-SUST) hosted a truly unforgettable Graduation Dinner Party in honor of our Master of Environmental Engineering graduates and what a celebration it was!

Surrounded by laughter, heartfelt speeches, inspiring music, and beautiful décor, we honored the hard work, perseverance, and remarkable achievements of our graduating scholars. From the red carpet entrance to the cutting of the celebratory cake, every moment was filled with pride, joy, and camaraderie.

A huge thank you to:

ISRB Executive lead by the President Beulah Favour Kargbo and the entire international student body.

All who contributed from the catering to the decorations to the heartfelt toasts.
