🦧 A rainforest encounter like no other 🌿

At Semenggoh, you never knew where an orangutan might appear — high in the trees, swinging across the ropes, or just metres away from us.

Our campers got to observe these incredible animals up close and learn about their behaviour, family life and connection to the rainforest.

And we were incredibly lucky to spot orangutan babies too! 🧡

Not just learning about wildlife — experiencing it for real.

在西蒙甘野生动物中心， orangutan 随时可能出现在我们身边 —— 可能在高高的树上，也可能在绳索间穿梭，甚至就在离我们几米远的地方。

孩子们近距离观察这些可爱的红毛猩猩，了解它们的生活习性、家庭关系，以及它们与热带雨林之间的密切联系。

而我们也特别幸运，还遇到了可爱的红毛猩猩宝宝！ 🧡

这一次，我们不只是“认识”野生动物，
而是真正走进自然，亲眼观察，亲身感受。

🐢 A meaningful day of learning on Satang Island! 🌴

Our students visited the sea turtle hatchery and were completely focused as the guide shared fascinating facts about sea turtle conservation. They had the opportunity to see two incredible species - Green Sea Turtles and Hawksbill Sea Turtles - and learn why protecting them matters. 🐢🌊

But the learning didn’t stop at the hatchery. The students also experienced the simplicity of island life firsthand - enjoying a simple meal together, exploring their surroundings, and spending time in an environment very different from what they are used to.

Real places. Real experiences. Real learning. 🌱

这一次，我们来到 Satang Island（萨唐岛），走进海龟孵化场，近距离了解海龟保护。🌴🐢

孩子们全程都听得非常专注，跟着当地向导认识海龟、了解海龟的习性与保护知识，还亲眼观察了 “绿海龟和玳瑁” 两种海龟。

而这趟旅程带给孩子们的，不只是关于海龟的知识。

他们也走进真实的海岛环境，亲身感受与平时截然不同的生活方式 — 在岛上用餐、探索周围的环境，体验简单而真实的海岛生活。

走出课堂，走进真实世界。

From exploring the rainforest and observing wildlife to discovering nature first-hand, our young explorers used English to ask inquiry questions, share ideas and make real-world discoveries along the way.

Because sometimes, the best classroom is the world around us. 🌳🔎

🦋 We’re getting ready for our very first outdoor parent-child English event - and our theme is Butterfly Discovery!

Inspired by nature and the magic of butterflies, this will be a full-English, hands-on adventure for families. Think storytelling, movement, craft, and outdoor fun - all while learning English in a joyful, natural way.

This unique destination, which will be part of our summer camp next year, offers an engaging and interactive environment where kids can learn about various river habitats and the diverse species that inhabit them. They’ll gain a deeper understanding of the importance of conservation as they explore the ecosystems of famous rivers like the Amazon and the Nile. Next year’s summer camp will include an enriching visit to Gardens by the Bay in Singapore, a site that offers exceptional educational opportunities for children. First, they will learn about plant diversity as they explore the Flower Dome, home to thousands of plant species from around the world. Second, the Cloud Forest will introduce them to the concept of ecosystems and the importance of conservation, featuring a misty mountain and the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. Third, the Supertree Grove will allow them to understand sustainable technologies, as these towering structures are equipped with solar panels and vertical gardens that mimic the functions of real trees. This visit will not only be a visual feast but also a deeply educational experience that fosters curiosity and respect for our environment.

After visiting Bird Paradise yesterday, I’m excited to share that this attraction will be one of the places we’ll visit during our camp next year. Students will have the opportunity to explore the incredible diversity of bird species, observe them up close, and learn about their habitats and behaviours. This visit promises to be unforgettable adventure, offering interactive sessions that will deepen their understanding of the avian world and foster a greater appreciation for wildlife and nature 🌴🕊

​昨天参观了飞禽公园，真是收获颇丰的一天。这一研学点将是我们明年夏令营活动中主要的参学地之一。同学们将会认识和观察到各种飞禽动物，并进一步学习相关知识：①不同飞禽的特点和栖息地？②飞禽如何迁徙及迁徙原因？③哪些飞禽濒临灭绝......相信这次夏令营活动将会给同学们带来难忘的体验，并激发同学们对野生动物和大自然的理解与热爱🌳🦜
