The 2026 Offline Freshman Orientation was held on August 30th to a packed meeting hall in Handan campus. With the preceding Online orientation on August 10th already setting the bar for what to expect on the day, the team worked diligently around the clock to realise the event.

The action-packed afternoon started off with the President’s speech welcoming 26MBBS to FIMSO, before committee introductions gave a glimpse into its diverse student body and activities to offer. Various speakers gave valuable insight with the Year 1 Expectations vs Reality talk and tips on life in Shanghai. After the talks concluded, icebreaker activities and a campus tour was held for the freshies to familiarise themselves with each other and the campus, ending the day exhausted but very much fulfilled.

A special shout-out to the FIMSO Executive team, Committee Heads and all volunteers present that helped make this unforgettable day come together! And to the class of 26MBBS, we extend you a warm welcome into the FIMSO family and hope you enjoy this one-in-a-lifetime journey! ❤️
