one entity with Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, ranking top nationally in hospital competitiveness for 11 consecutive years.
It boasts top faculty including Academician Liu Liang and National Master Lin Yi, offering five undergraduate programs to cultivate outstanding traditional Chinese medicine professionals.

The First Clinical Medical College, GZUCM's oldest school, integrates college and hospital administration. It offers five undergraduate programs, including two national first-class majors in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Integrated Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine. With distinguished faculty like National Master Zhou Daihan, it cultivates high-quality clinical talents in traditional Chinese medicine.

GZUCM's Social Sciences Association successfully held its leadership election, with Secretary Chen Wenfeng elected as the new chairman. At the same event, the inaugural issue of the journal "Chinese Medicine Culture and Communication Studies" was released. The association will focus on building a distinctive knowledge system and promoting cultural heritage of traditional Chinese medicine.

The expansion and renovation project of GZUCM Affiliated Yuehai Sanya Hospital has commenced. With an investment of 35.75 million RMB, the project will add and renovate nearly 8, 000 square meters of floor space and provide 100 planned beds. This key step enhances integrated Chinese and Western medicine services in Hainan, supporting the Free Trade Port development.

Registration is open for the 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, featuring a new "Chinese Medicine and Health" track. With a prize pool of 9.85 million RMB and incentives like professional promotion, it's a premier platform for innovation and commercialization. Excellent candidates from GZUCM are invited to participate.

GZUCM has officially established the Chinese Medicine Discipline Academy, with Academician Liu Liang as its dean. This pioneering entity integrates academic resources and strengthens innovation in education, research, and clinical practice. As a national key discipline, traditional Chinese medicine embarks on this new chapter to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces and achieve high-quality disciplinary advancement.

Yang Xiaoqian, a 2026 graduate in Applied Psychology, has chosen to become a selected graduate official in Huimin County, Shandong. A top student and active youth mental health volunteer, she says, “Psychology is not just theory, but the power to warm others in life.” She hopes to bring psychology's light to the grassroots communities.

New majors just dropped! The Ministry of Education has approved TCM Rehabilitation and Artificial Intelligence at GZUCM, enrolling 2026. TCM Rehabilitation trains integrated rehabilitation physicians; the AI major focuses on “AI + Healthcare” to serve the Greater Bay Area's health industry. This move expands our academic offerings and strengthens TCM interdisciplinary innovation.
