This week our school was hosting a Chilean intensive training where students (mainly composed of wine dealers) had the opportunity to discover no less than 10 Chilean wine regions and taste a genuine selection of wines chosen by Julien Boulard MW !

The Italian Wine Scholars (IWS) is coming to Shanghai in September!

Through the joint efforts of Mr. Julian Boulard MW and team members, our school has successfully obtained the authorisation of the famous American wine education institution : The Wine Scholar Guild (the official website is https://www.winescholarguild.org/ ) , and has become an Italian wine scholar official authorised institution in China.

Two weeks ago, the best wines of Chile came to Nanning for an incredible dinner. Among them, Sena 2005, Chadwich 2006 but also an incredible Las Pizzaras Chardonnay from 2017.

What a night that was!
Last May, a few lucky students indulged in a dinner featuring a few of the best Barolos. All the wines were in perfect condition and clearly showed the different approaches of the producers.

Here are a few pics of a memorable Master Class led by Laurence Feraud in Guangzhou last November. Domaine du Pégau is definitely one of the most renowned wineries from Châteauneuf-du-Pape in China, if not THE most recognized. Participants were all familiar with the winery, but tasting several vintages of Cuvée Réservée side-by-side, especially with the buoyant Laurence guiding them through, allowed them to better grasp the subtleties of this amazing estate. We are so proud to bring such tasting opportunities to a city which seems a little bit behind Shanghai in terms of wine events...

“The Wine Window” is a course we've designed specifically for consumers with literally zero wine knowledge. It is a very interactive course (with audio files, flash animations, games, etc.) aimed at making wine education a bit more entertaining than usual. Yesterday, three educators took turns to teach it to a bunch of enthusiastic new wine lovers! We'll see if we've managed to convert them! ;-)
