New level unlocked: HSK8! After learning Chinese for more than 10 years and finishing level 6 in 2013 and 2016 (highest at the time), I was so excited to welcome this new advanced Chinese exam for levels 7-9! As a learner I’m obviously motivated by exams!

Happy Chinese New Year! I’m looking forward to many things this year. Visiting Finland in the Summer, teaching my daughter to learn to read Finnish, starting my PhD research, getting my business back to where it was before pandemic, improving my teaching. Going to be a great year!
