【Book Week】ISA Tianhe Book Week has come to a successful end! Children dressed up as classic book characters, communicated with author face to face, and discovered new joys of reading through a variety of activities and hands-on science experiences. They captured beautiful moments of reading and growth with creativity and love for books. 读书周圆满落幕！孩子们化身书中经典角色，与童书作家面对面互动，在多样的校园活动和科学实践中解锁阅读新乐趣，用创意与热爱，定格属于书香与成长的美好瞬间。

As World Book Day arrived as scheduled, ISA Tianhe successfully concluded the 9th Book Week series activities. With "In-depth Integration with Scientific Inquiry" as its core, this Book Week innovatively created diverse and three-dimensional reading experience forms, allowing students to touch the texture of literature and feel the power of words through immersive interaction, and more vividly interpreted the core cultivation goal of "Risk-takers" in IB education. The school carefully designed a series of interesting and inquiry-based reading activities, breaking the one-way communication boundary of traditional reading, making every page turn and every immersive participation a wonderful journey for children to unlock new knowledge, encounter surprises and nourish their growth.
世界读书日如期而至，爱莎天河圆满落幕第九届读书周系列活动。本届读书周以“与科学探究深度融合”为核心内核，创新打造多元立体的阅读体验形式，让学生在沉浸式互动中触摸文学肌理、感受文字力量，更鲜活诠释了IB教育“敢于尝试”的核心培养目标。学校精心打磨一系列兼具趣味性与探究性的阅读活动，打破传统阅读的单向传播边界，让每一次书页翻动、每一场沉浸式参与，都成为孩子们解锁新知、邂逅惊喜、滋养成长的奇妙旅程。

【Good News 喜报】In the 11th SPBCN International Spelling Bee, one student from ISA Tianhe won 1st Place in the Guangzhou City Finals and another won 3rd Place in the Guangzhou City Finals. A total of 7 students have successfully advanced to the National Finals! 第十一届 SPBCN 国际英文拼词大会中，爱莎天河 1 名学生荣获广州赛区第一名，1 名学生获得第三名，共有 7 名学生成功突围，晋级全国总决赛！

UOI✨
Unit of Inquiry (UOI) in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a student-centered approach. It aims to spark curiosity and develop an inquiry spirit through interdisciplinary exploration and real-world problem-solving.
国际文凭小学项目（IB PYP）的探究单元（UOI）以学生为中心，通过跨学科主题探究与真实问题解决，激发孩子的好奇心与探究精神。
The UOI integrates language, mathematics, science, social studies, art and PE into six transdisciplinary themes:Who We Are; Where We Are in Place and Time; How We Express Ourselves; How the World Works; How We Organize Ourselves; Sharing the Planet.
探究单元融合语言、数学、科学、社会学、艺术与体育，形成六大跨学科主题：我们是谁；我们身处的时空；我们如何表达自己；世界如何运作；我们如何组织自己；共享地球。
At ISA Tianhe, students are encouraged to explore in authentic contexts, developing critical thinking, communication and collaboration.In UOI learning, students conduct deep research into themes related to global issues, society, culture and the environment.
爱莎天河鼓励学生在真实情境中探索，培养批判性思维、沟通与合作能力。在 UOI 学习中，学生围绕全球议题、社会、文化与环境等主题开展深度研究。
Each semester, the school offers a variety of field trips based on learning content.By visiting museums, science museums and other sites, students apply classroom knowledge to real life and deepen their understanding.
学校每学期会根据学习内容开展丰富的实地考察活动。通过参观博物馆、科技馆等场所，学生将课堂知识运用于现实，加深理解。
Through interactions with peers and teachers, students not only acquire knowledge but also strengthen their sense of social responsibility and international-mindedness.
