It is one of the seven secondary schools under the direct administration of Chongqing Educational Commission. Since 2003, Chongqing Bashu Scondary School has become one of the most famous secondary schools

in China, known for its state-of-the-arts facility, high quality of teaching and especially for the number of graduates entering the top two universities in China - Peking University and Tsinghua University. The school's university entry rate is also among the highest in Chongqing.
