This summer, 20 exceptional students from Grades 8–12 — representing Phillips Exeter, Trinity, Hotchkiss, Lakeside, Cate, Middlesex, Singapore American School, and more — will immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture through ISB's JADE program for 3.5 weeks in Beijing.
We invite our alumni to join these students for a cultural workshop at the Xiaomi EV factory on Monday June 15 from 12:45 PM - 4:30 PM. It's a chance to see firsthand what JADE offers: deep cultural immersion, real-world learning and connection to innovation in China.
JADE is one of the programs within the ISB Annual Fund. Come see what your support could make possible for current and future students.

On May 16, we welcomed alumni back to campus for the annual Spring Fair and ISB Homecoming. We reconnected with our Dragons at the alumni photo booth while enjoying games, performances, food, and community spirit across campus.
The student IHOSA club promoted hydration and wellness for athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and varsity and JV teams at the Homecoming Soccer Game. We are grateful to alumnus Hansen Bi (Class of 2004), Founder of Elix Water and recently named to Fortune China's 40 Under 40, for providing an in-kind sponsorship of sustainable boxed water — supporting one of ISB's focus areas on sustainability.
We also heard from our alumni at TEDxYouth@ISBeijing on "The Power of Why," including game designer Ivan Tsang (Class of 2014), who shared the story behind Oblige, inspired by his grandmother's journey from rural China to 1970s Hong Kong.
The day brought together generations of our alumni from around the world for one of ISB's biggest community events. We thank the ISB PTA, our alumni volunteers, and everyone who made it so special.

We welcomed ISB alumni from across generations — from Sanh Kim (attended 1994) to the Class of 2025 volunteers — for an evening of reconnection in Hong Kong. We enjoyed a fireside chat with Philip Hu (Class of 2002) and Board Trustee Randy Wang, who shared reflections on leadership, education, and philanthropy at ISB.
We also shared a "What's New at ISB" update on enrollment, university admissions, student activities, athletics, and APAC participation. We thank former faculty member Wayne King for hosting our alumni auction, where the top bid went to the limited-edition "Goodbye Lido Campus, Hello Shunyi Campus" photograph.
We thank all bidders and supporters for their generosity to the ISB Annual Fund and the after-party, which welcomed over 70 alumni. Most importantly, we thank every alum who joined us and continues to strengthen our ISB alumni network and reputation for excellence.

On March 21, we welcomed more than 75 ISB alumni and friends in San Francisco to reconnect, celebrate, and strengthen ties within our ISB community. We were delighted to welcome Ethan Tseng (Class of 2014), recipient of ISB's 2023 Alumni Achievement Award. We extend special thanks to Jingquan Sun (Class of 2017) for leading and organizing this gathering, which was sponsored by the ISB Advancement and Alumni Office.
We congratulate Tony Kam (Class of 2019), who has stepped into the role of ISB's San Francisco Alumni Ambassador! Tony will help grow our alumni network in the region and inspire more gatherings to come.
Moments like this reflect our ISB mission beyond the classroom — building lifelong connections and empowering our alumni to lead, contribute, and support one another around the world.
Once a Dragon, always a Dragon.

When Jaime FlorCruz, Ambassador of the Philippines to China and ISB parent returned to campus last month, it was a homecoming decades in the making. His wife, Ana, is a former staff member; their children are graduates. Eighteen years after addressing the Class of 2008, he opened BEIMUN # # .
His message:
"In times of crisis, there are also opportunities—for new ideas, new paths, and a better future."
From the podium, he shouted out Mattie Bekink Class of 1996—BEIMUN's first Secretary-General and 2025 Alumni Achievement Award winner. Now Regional Director at the Ford Foundation, she's proof of the impact ISB students can make for social good.
The Ambassador also donated three books, including his memoir, now in the MS/HS Library.
This is nearly 10,000 alumni in motion. Lifelong relationships across generations. That's ISB's Strategic Focus in action.
