PART 6: WAF⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After we created a functional layout of the Anshun Golden Prickly Pear Winery, we introduced the concept of "public sightseeing circulation" to allow the tourists to view the entire production process without affecting the winery operations. The viewing platform protruding from the roof serves as the end point of the "public sightseeing circulation line". It can overlook the surrounding mountains and the pear grove in the distance. After completion, it become an important viewing point for the local pear blossoms. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

PART 5: WAF
The large glass curtain wall facing the natural landscape uses the surrounding scenery as a natural background and is presented in the brewing workshop. We used a double-layer facade design to weaken the impact of a single building material on the natural environment. The light-coloured pear wood and dark-coloured slate can better blend into the mountain background.

PART 4: WAF⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the site is rich in green vegetation, forming a progressive spatial hierarchical relationship between mountains, site, natural vegetation, pear planting area and traditional villages. We decided to design a simple building volume which can be better integrated into the large natural environment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

PART 3: WAF⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In Anshun, Guizhou Province, Local people have used golden prickly pear for brewing for hundreds of years. The client’s biggest wish was to build a fruit winery to increase annual output, solve the growing problem of overproduction of golden prickly pear, and finally help the local low-income farmers to be out of poverty. Therefore, our biggest challenge was to meet the needs of the client, and to promote the development of economy and improve living conditions of the local people through our design. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

PART 1: WAF⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anshun Golden Prickly Pear Winery is an important project for us, because of its high social and economic value for the local community. On one hand, the building needed to be functional, as a wine production base. On the other hand, it needed to be attractive for tourists. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

PART 1: DALI
The topography of the site of Dali Creative Area naturally inspires us to create a flexible and adaptable layout that perfectly complements Yunnan’s natural environment, keeping versatility and customer experience in mind. To guarantee a minimum impact on the natural resources, we arranged the park using interconnected axis.

PART 1: GO2
Guizhou Modoo Mall was completed in 2018. In this project, site’s natural conditions were a challenge. But we also saw them as a great opportunity to create something unique, not another standard shopping mall. We used the changing elevation to enhance and diversify people’s experience of the space, and controlled the relationship between the skyline and the terrain to create a great visual experience from all angles.
