根据校历安排，2021年秋季国际学生按原定日期报到注册，请在华国际学生按规定时间到校报到注册，请境外国际学生联系所在学院/管理老师按时办理线上报到注册手续。其中，有关境内学生线下报到注册工作安排如下：

Dear international students,

According to the school calendar, international students will register on the original date in the fall of 2021. International students in China should register at the school according to the specified time, and overseas international students should contact their college/advisor for online registration on time. 民心相通梦想起航 57国学子顺利毕业
北京语言大学成功举办2021届国际学生毕业典礼

7月5日，北京语言大学2021届国际学生毕业典礼暨学位授予仪式隆重举行，来自全球57个国家和地区的402名同学圆满完成了本科、研究生、博士生学业，踏上人生新征程。在典礼分会场，北京语言大学曼谷学院、北京语言大学东京学院的师生、来自28个国家的北语孔子学院学生1500余人通过线上观礼的方式参与盛典。典礼面向全球直播，由北京语言大学国际教育管理处处长陈丽霞主持，得到了政界、学界的广泛关注，各界人士共聚云端，参与人数近万人。
On 5th July, 2021, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony for the international graduates of 2021 was held in Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). 402 students from 57 countries and regions around the world successfully completed their bachelor, master and doctoral studies and started a new journey of life. On the branch venue, more than 1500 students and teachers from BLCU Bangkok College and BLCU Tokyo College and students from Confucius Institute in 28 countries participated in the ceremony online. The ceremony was broadcast live around the world and hosted by Chen Lixia, Director of the International Education Management Office of BLCU. It gained wide attention from the political and academic circles. People from all walks of life gathered in online ceremony with nearly 10,000 participants.

Ni Haidong, the Secretary of the Party Committee of BLCU, President Liu Li, Deputy secretary Wei hui and Ma Guisheng, Vice President Zhang Baojun and Huang Yifang, as well as the head of each functional department, training unit and distinguished teachers attended the ceremony. Mohamed El Badry, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Wang Junxiao, President of Sinolingua were invited as distinguished guests. Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, the Chairman of the board of directors of BLCU Bangkok College and the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Chen Shuqing, Consultant of BLCU Bangkok College and Representative of the Chinese Community, Zhuo Zhengming, Director of Beijing Language and Culture University Bangkok College, China, Li Zhixiong, Director of Beijing Language and Culture University Bangkok College,Thailand, and Qiu Xinli, a member of the board of directors of BLCU Bangkok College were present at the branch venue. Song Hongfang, Director of BLCU Tokyo College, China, Mr. Osawa Toru, Secretary of Affairs, Hu Toshio, Director of Academic Affairs, and Takeshima Naho, Dean of Student Affairs.

本届毕业生共有本科生301人、研究生101人，分布在汉语国际教育、语言学及应用语言学、翻译、新闻学等多个专业学位领域。其中汉语国际教育学部233 人、人文社会科学学部36人、外国语学部2人、商学院3人、艺术学院2人、曼谷学院19人以及东京学院6人。其中，有23名同学通过自己的努力，获得了“优秀毕业生”荣誉称号。在庄严隆重的学位授予仪式上，倪海东书记、刘利校长、魏晖副书记、马贵生副书记、张宝钧副校长、黄益方副校长共同为毕业生拨穗并颁发毕业证书，同学们一一向校领导和师长们表达感谢，并合影留念。
There are 301 undergraduates and 101 graduate students in various majors, such as International Education of Chinese Language, Applied Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting, Journalism and so on. There are 233 students from the Faculty of International Education of Chinese Language, 36 students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, 2 students from the Faculty of Foreign Studies, 3 students from the School of Business, 2 students from the College of Arts, 19 students from Bangkok College and 6 students from Tokyo College. 23 students won the honorary title of "Outstanding graduates" through their own efforts. At the solemn ceremony, the Secretary Ni Haidong, President Liu Li, Deputy Secretary Wei hui and Ma Guisheng, Vice President Zhang Baojun and Huang Yifang, issued the diplomas to the graduates. The graduates expressed their gratitude to the school leaders and teachers and took pictures.

【NOTICE】关于北京市近期疫情防控相关通报

各位在华国际学生同学们：

大家好！

自2020年新型冠状肺炎在世界蔓延以来，全球各国都在积极开展疫情防控工作。截至2021年7月29日，中国以外新冠肺炎确诊病例超过3288万例，中国现存确诊病例3100例。近日北京市相继出现本土确诊病例和入境核酸检测阳性病例，目前中国境外疫情仍处于高位流行态势，中国境内零星散发和局部聚集性疫情交织叠加，疫情传播风险随时随地可能存在，同学们仍需谨慎严防，一刻也不能放松。

Hello everyone! Since COVID-19 spread around the world in 2020, countries around the world have been actively engaged in the prevention and control of the epidemic. As of July 29, 2021, there were more than 32.88 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 outside China, with 3,100 confirmed cases remaining in China. Recently, confirmed domestic cases and positive nucleic acid test cases have been reported in Beijing. At present, the epidemic situation outside China is still at a high level, while sporadic outbreaks and local clusters of cases in China are intertwined. 北京新增2例京外关联确诊系夫妻，坐过3条地铁！密接654人

在北京市新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情防控工作第227场新闻发布会上，市疾控中心副主任庞星火介绍，7月28日0时至7月29日12时，新增2例京外疫情关联新冠肺炎确诊病例，均为湖南张家界返京人员。

Beijing: Two new cases confirmed outside Beijing are husband and wife who took three subways. Contact 654 people.

At the 227th press conference on COVID-19 prevention and control in Beijing, Pang Xinghuo, deputy director of the Beijing CDC, said that from 00:00 on July 28 to 12:00 on July 29, there were two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 associated with the outbreak outside Beijing, all of which were returned to Beijing from Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province.

现将相关防疫要求通知如下：

1.2021年暑假期间，请大家务必严格遵守中国相关法律法规和疫情防控相关规定，严格遵守学校及所在社区疫情防控措施。

2.谨慎出行，非必要不出京。如必须出京，不得前往中高风险地区， 须提前向管理老师提出申请并提供时间、去向、行程、交通方式及其他需要的信息。

2.学校校园管控规定暂无变化，校外学生如需申请入校应按照原入校申请流程向管理教师提出申请。

3.如离校，期间须做好个人防护，戴好口罩。避免前往人员密集场所，避免参加聚集性活动，保持社交距离。如有发热、咳嗽、腹泻等症状要及时告知当地有关部门及管理教师。

4.疫情防控期间，请同学们与学校保持密切联系，做好相应的防护措施，保护好自己。有任何情况及时联系自己的管理老师。

Relevant epidemic prevention requirements are hereby notified as follows:

1. During the summer vacation in 2021, please strictly abide by the relevant laws and regulations of China and the relevant provisions of epidemic prevention and control, and strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control measures in schools and communities.

2. Travel carefully, do not leave Beijing if it is not necessary. Once leaving Beijing is unavoidable, do not travel to medium- and high-risk areas, apply to the management teacher in advance and provide information in time, including where to go, itinerary, way of transportation and other needs.

3. There is no change in the school campus control regulations, if students outside the campus need to get back to school, please apply to the management teacher in accordance with the original admission process.

【节气】小暑——一碗分来百越春，玉溪小暑却宜人

小暑，是农历二十四节气之第十一个节气，夏天的第五个节气，表示季夏时节的正式开始。《月令七十二候集解》中说：“暑，热也，就热之中分为大小，月初为小，月中为大，今则热气犹小也。”
Slight Heat is the 11th solar term of the 24 solar terms in the lunar calendar and the fifth solar term in summer, which marks the official beginning of the summer season."The Seventy-Two hou Ji Jie of the Monthly Ling" said: "Heat, heat, heat can be divided into big and small, the beginning of the month is small, the middle of the month is big, now the heat is still small.

暑，表示炎热的意思，小暑为小热，意指天气开始炎热，但还没到最热。小暑虽不是一年中最炎热的时节，但紧接着就是一年中最热的大暑，民间有“小暑大暑，上蒸下煮”之说，天气也将越来闷热和潮湿。
"Heat" means hot, while "minor heat" means "minor heat". It means that the weather is beginning to get hot, but it's not the hottest yet. Slight Heat is not the hottest season of the year, but it is followed by Major Heat, the hottest season of the year. There is a folk saying that "Slight Heat and Major Heat involve steaming on the top and boiling on the next", and the weather will become more hot and humid.

With the coming of “xiaoshu” the solar term, BLCUers are starting the beautiful summer vacation time. After being hard-working for a whole term ,it’s time to relax ourselves ,gaining energy for the next term or we can take time to check leaks in our study, using the summer time to catch up with the class that we failed. It’s a great time to relax and rectify.

Beijing Language and Culture University Entrepreneurs Alumni Association Inaugural Meeting Were Successfully Held

5月26日，北京语言大学企业家校友会成立大会暨揭牌仪式在综合楼909会议室成功举办。北京语言大学校长、北京语言大学校友会会长刘利教授，北京语言大学副校长、北京语言大学校友会副会长张宝钧教授出席成立大会，大连外国语大学校友企业联盟秘书长冯亮、大连外国语大学校友企业联盟副理事长常威、北京邮电大学校友企业家协会副秘书长赵丽娜受邀与北语企业家校友共同参加此次活动。

On May 26th, the inaugural meeting and unveiling ceremony of Beijing Language and Culture University Entrepreneur Alumni Association was successfully held in Conference Room 909 of the complex building. President of BLCU, President of BLCU Alumni Association, Professor Liu Li, Vice President of BLCU and Vice President of BLCU Alumni Association, Professor Zhang Baojun attended the inaugural meeting. Feng Liang, Secretary General of Dalian Foreign Studies University Alumni Enterprise Alliance, Chang Wei, Vice Chairman of Dalian Foreign Studies University Alumni Enterprise Alliance, and Zhao Lina, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Alumni Entrepreneurs Association were invited to participate in the event together with the alumni of Northern English entrepreneurs.

In his speech, President Liu Li welcomed and thanked all the distinguished guests and entrepreneurs for coming. President Liu said that the school attaches great importance to alumni work and cares about alumni growth. He also introduced the recent development and social recognition of BLCU, raised expectations for the establishment of the Entrepreneur Alumni Association, and thanked all alumni for their care and support on behalf of alma mater. He hoped that more alumni would participate in the development and construction of alma mater and wished all alumni greater success in their future career.

大会表决并任命了企业家校友会的领导班子：78级英语专业黄小治校友担任企业家校友会会长；91级对外汉语专业钱军校友担任企业家校友会秘书长；97级英语专业贾旭校友担任企业家校友会副秘书长。刘利校长与黄小治会长共同为企业家校友会揭牌，张宝钧副校长分别为班子成员颁发聘书，领导嘉宾与到场校友一起见证企业家校友会的正式成立。
The conference voted and appointed the leadership team of the Entrepreneur Alumni Association: Huang Xiaozhi, alumniof Grade 1978 major in English, served as the president of the Entrepreneur Alumni Association; Qian Jun, an alumni of Grade 91 major in TCFL, served as Secretary General of Entrepreneur Alumni Association; Jia Xu, an alumni of Grade 97 major in English, is the deputy secretary-general of the Entrepreneur Alumni Association. President Liu Li and President Huang Xiaozhi jointly unveiled the Entrepreneur Alumni Association, and Vice President Zhang Baojun respectively issued letters of appointment to the team members. Leaders and alumni present witnessed the formal establishment of the Entrepreneur Alumni Association.

黄小治会长在发言中向校领导对企业家校友会的高度重视表示感谢，并对校友的出席表示欢迎和感谢。他提出希望北京语言大学企业家校友会未来可以发挥九个特征：国际性特征、权威性特征、专业性特征、贡献性特征、平台性特征、交流性特征、跨地区性特征、俱乐部特征和游学特征，希望企业家校友会在未来可以在各领域成为一道亮丽的风景线，凝聚海内外校友企业家的智慧和能量，推动资源共享，促进共同发展。

In his speech, President Huang Xiaozhi thanked the school leaders for attaching great importance to the Entrepreneurs Alumni Association, and welcomed the alumni for attending the meeting. He expressed the hope that the BLCU Entrepreneur Alumni Association could play nine characteristics in the future: international, authoritative, professional, contribution, platform characteristics, communication, cross-regional, club characteristics and study tour characteristics. He hoped that the Entrepreneur Alumni Association would become a beautiful landscape in various fields in the future, condensing the wisdom and energy of alumni entrepreneurs at home and abroad, promoting resource sharing and common development.

5月20日第十个“全球无障碍宣传日”，我校喀麦隆籍欧力、贝宁籍卡西娅、几内亚籍乌达前往大兴机场参加由中国民用机场协会、大兴国际机场和星云文化教育公益基金会联合举办的“爱，助梦想起飞”残疾人公益快闪活动。暖心公益，让来自世界五湖四海的朋友们欢聚一堂。

在活动准备的前期，同学们面对从未接触过的手语学习，遇到了许多的困难，但在老师们的悉心指导下，他们反复练习，不断摸索，从手语手势无法做到完全标准，到逐渐掌握了规范的手语姿势；从起初的动作略显生硬，到能够自然流畅地进行表演；从跟不上音乐节拍，到与音乐节奏完美契合。

最终在演出当天，同学们为观众们呈现出了完美的作品。他们的每一个手势都饱含着对“无障爱”的期盼；在阳光健康、积极向上的氛围中，唤醒更多人对残疾人士的关怀。无论是参加的学生，还是现场观众，都收获了满满的感动。
