If you are still relying on "motivation" in order to study, I'm sorry to break it to you, but you are in for FAILURE.
Tomorrow, we will be talking about study systems and routines that will help you lock in even on your worst days.
As a bonus, you will also get to be a member of The Revision Room community, a community where we hold everyone's hand and leave no one behind!
See you there! 🥰📚

That moment in the exam hall when you read the question and your mind goes blank…
I remember sitting in an exam hall once, staring at a question that made absolutely no sense.
The more I read it, the worse it became.
My heart started racing. My mind went blank.
That’s when I learned something important:
panic does more damage than ignorance.
Here’s what to do when a question confuses you:
1. Stop fighting the question
Rereading it angrily won’t help. Pause. Breathe. Calm first.
2. Identify the command word
Is the examiner asking you to explain, describe, or evaluate?
Many students lose marks simply by answering the wrong way.
3. Strip the question down
Remove examples, context, and long sentences.
Ask yourself: What topic is this really testing?
4. Rewrite it in your own words
If you can explain the question to yourself, you can answer it.
5. Start somewhere
Even a weak beginning can earn marks.
An empty script earns none.
Understanding questions is a skill — and skills can be learned.
At The Revision Room, we don’t just teach answers.
We teach how to survive the exam hall.
