It's back to school preparation. What are you doing to plan for your child with special Educational Needs or Disabilities.

Most often parents in Cameroon budget late for their children with disabilities or learning difficulties, or they focus more on the so called " normal children'' forgetting to understand that all children have equal rights to education, both those with and without disabilities.

Planing and supporting your children with disabilities at an early age is the best thing to do as it empowers them and prepare them for the future. Failure to educate your child with disabilities is increasing you psychological and financial burden in later life.
Everyone has the potential to learn, so parents and teachers should be willing to support children with disabilities to succeed in education comes this 2022/2023 school year.

Do not keep you children with disabilities at home, take them to school and provide their school needs as well. As for you teachers, understand that every child has the right to be in your class is effectively learning, so teach in a manner that those with learning challenges can understand.

The Audience were made to understand that inclusive education open it's beneficiaries doors to opportunities in and out of education.

Inclusive education is the best form of education that ensures that everyone including those with disabilities benefits from quality education and flourish in life.
4th May 2022 was day to remember as Umenjoh Vania the Principal of SENTTI-IBES was part of the jury term for the inclusive education competition in which Five Secondary schools in Yaounde competed in the area of poetry, drama songs etc. It was great as the students displayed their talents raising awareness on the need for inclusive education.

Let all say yes to Inclusive Education. It benefits me, it benefits you, it benefits us.

It is still all about Autism Awareness Month ( April)

Inclusive Special Education on my mind. Admission is currently going on. If you want to be an inclusive special educator, Sign language Interpreter, or Braille transcriber then SENTTI is to train you. In Bamenda study is in the afternoon and in Yaounde studies are in the evening so that you can work within the day and study in the evening.

Teachers are will be teachers, where are you? This information is vital to you. You do not need just to be a teacher but an Inclusive teacher.

April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day and April is Autism Awareness Month.
The theme for this year is
" Inclusive Quality Education for All"

It's April. It's Autism Awareness/ Acceptance Month. Let us us show compassion to this individuals with autism in words and actions.

Today is World Down Syndrome Day. The theme for this year is "What does inclusion means". It is a day set outside to raise awareness on issues affecting the human rights of persons with down syndrome. Individuals with Down Syndrome need inclusion in school and society. We should try our best to ensure the inclusion of persons with Down Syndrome in every sector of society. We should start from home, school and the community.

Everyone has potentials to impact. Inclusion is possible. Give persons with Down Syndrome the opportunity to flourish in education and society.
