1. Are you affiliated with the famous Holy Infant School Complex?
Yes, we are. We uphold the same high standards of excellence.
2. How long has the school existed?
Holy Infant Higher Institute was established in 2019.
3. What programs do you offer?
We offer programs in Nursing, Midwifery, and Medical Laboratory Sciences at the HND, BSc, and Master’s levels.
4. Are you affiliated with any state university?
Yes. We are affiliated with and mentored by the University of Bamenda (UBa). Our degrees are therefore issued solely by this state university.
5. When do you start your academic year?
We closely follow the academic calendar of our mentoring university and typically resume in mid-October.
6. Do you accept fees in installments?
Yes. We offer a flexible payment plan, which is provided to students upon registration.
7. What are the admission requirements for each program?
HND Program:
A pass in HND in the appropriate field of study.
A pass in at least two subjects at the Advanced Level (A-Level), from any subject background, excluding Religious Studies.
BSc Program:
A pass in the appropriate field of study.
A pass in at least two science subjects at the Advanced Level (A-Level), excluding Religious Studies.
Master’s Program:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field of study.
8. How can I apply for admission?
Our registration procedure is simple and straightforward. Details about the admission and registration process are provided on campus. Alternatively, you may leave us a message, and our admissions team will assist you.
9. Do you accept students transferring from other institutions?
Yes, we do. Students transferring from other recognized institutions may apply, subject to the applicable admission requirements.
10. Are your programs accredited and recognized by the relevant authorities?
Yes. Our programs are supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education and our mentoring university, the University of Bamenda (UBa), Cameroon.
11. Do you provide practical training, internships, or clinical placements for students?
Yes. We have partnerships with several hospitals and clinics in and around Yaoundé. These partnerships enable our students to gain valuable practical experience through internships and clinical placements.
