THE MASTER MIND INITIATIVE
Thursday Prayer Meeting Summary
On Thursday, we held our weekly prayer meeting, where our teacher, Rev. Serdric shared an inspiring message on the topic:
"How to Deal with Peer Pressure as a Christian"
Reference Text: Romans 12:2
During the teaching, we learned that as Christians, we are called to live according to God's will and not be influenced by negative pressures from the world around us. Peer pressure can lead people away from their values, beliefs, and purpose if they are not spiritually grounded.
Some key lessons from the session included:
1. Know Your Identity in Christ
A Christian who understands who they are in Christ will be less likely to compromise their faith to please others.
2. Renew Your Mind Daily
Through prayer, Bible study, and fellowship, believers can develop the strength to make godly decisions.
3. Choose the Right Company
The people we associate with greatly influence our character and decisions. We should surround ourselves with people who encourage our spiritual growth.
4. Stand Firm in Your Convictions
It is important to remain faithful to God's principles, even when others pressure us to do otherwise.
5. Seek God's Guidance
Through prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit, Christians can overcome temptations and pressures from their peers.
The session reminded us that true transformation comes when we surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to renew our minds. As Romans 12:2 teaches, we should not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
We thank Rev. Fonyuy Serdric for this powerful teaching and encourage every member to put these lessons into practice in their daily lives.
"Stand for Christ, even when the crowd stands against you." 🙏
Thank you our Community Secretary Kenkoh Christabel B**g , Communication Expert Fondze Sergius Rannyuy , Prosper Wiysanyuy , Adel Ngoran , Fai Raisa and many others for always showing up....
