FELLOW KUPEXSANS, I GREET YOU ALL.

RESOLUTIONS AT OUR LAST ENLARGED EXCO MEETING WERE TAKEN AFTER A SERIES OF PRESENTATIONS BY CHAPTERS, CLASSES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH A CAPTIVATING POWER POINT PRESENTATION BY THE CLASS OF 93.

THE PRESENTATIONS DEMONSTRATED THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE VARIOUS PRESENTERS AND LEFT US WITH THE BURNING HOPE THAT WE SHALL OVERCOME.

1) Diagnosis of the problem

Very low enrollment. 121 students as at now with only 5 students in Form 1 and none in L6. With very little income from school fees,The school is obliged to pay for teachers to teach all the subjects and provide for boarding facilities. Proprietor cannot break even and therefore chose to hand the school over to the kumba Presbytry ( All PCC congrgations in the kumba zone) to be steered by a COLLEGE MANAGEMENT TEAM ( CMT), to which KUPEXSA IS,A KEY MEMBER.

A) CAUSES OF LOW ENROLLMENT

MEMBERS POINTED OUT THE FOLLOWING AMONGST THE MANY CAUSES :
1) poor GCE results
2) poor Administration
3) low teaching standards
4) Appauling hygienic conditions ( yard , hostels toilets, classsrooms
5) obsolete infrastructure
6) poor administration
7) lack of branding
8lack of a marketing strategy
9) security stemming from the socio- political crisis
10) kupexsans refusing to enroll their progenitors and family children to PHS
