This is not a political platform. BINDECA YELLO Digital Center does not advocate for violence, hatred, or destruction. But we cannot ignore the pain of families, communities, and innocent people caught in the crossfire of conflict.
Behind every headline is a human story. Behind every statistic is a mother, a father, a child, a young person whose dreams are being interrupted.
And this is exactly why we believe in investing in young people as leaders — not just of tomorrow, but of today.
History has shown us one painful truth: violence has never created a sustainable solution. Violence only multiplies suffering and creates new wounds for future generations.
The story of South Africa during apartheid teaches us an important lesson. Millions suffered under injustice and oppression. The struggle for freedom was necessary, but one of the painful consequences of that era was the impact of lost opportunities, including generations that were denied quality education.
Years later, some of the challenges the country faces remind us that the decisions of one generation can shape the future of another. When people grow up without access to education, critical thinking, and accurate information, misinformation can become a dangerous force that turns communities against each other.
History is not meant to divide us. History is meant to teach us.
The question we must ask ourselves today is:
What kind of future are we preparing for the next generation?
Are we teaching young people to become victims of anger, frustration, and division?
Or are we empowering them to become innovators, problem solvers, peace builders, and leaders?
At BINDECA YELLO Digital Center, we believe every young person carries a solution within them. But solutions require skills. They require knowledge. They require spaces where young people can learn, think, create, and have their voices heard.
To the young people:
Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. You are not powerless. You are not only waiting for tomorrow — you are shaping today. Choose to build. Choose to create. Choose to become part of the solution.
To our leaders, elites, and decision-makers:
The future of this country cannot be built without young people. Do not only speak about the youth; listen to them. Engage them. Give them platforms. Give them opportunities. A generation that feels heard becomes a generation that builds.
After everything is said and done, the sustainable solution to any crisis will not come from more pain, more division, or more violence.
It will come from people choosing dialogue over destruction, education over ignorance, and hope over despair.
We pray for the safety of everyone affected by recent events.
