STORY TIME 😎

La première fois que j’ai fortement ressenti le besoin de me faire accompagner c’était en pleine crise de quart de vie… lol sans dé****er ça existe 🫣😅

I was broke and broken. Didn’t really know how to get out of that cycle.

Le déclic est parti d’une en ligne, puis la pratique de l’écriture ( was my life back then) puis blog en dev perso avant de rejoindre un programme de coaching de groupe.

Guess what?

La base d’un accompagnement réussi c’est de bien identifier son besoin prioritaire. Ça permet de gagner du temps et d’être efficace mais aussi de faire des économies d’argent.

La majeure partie des critiques des coaches etc c’est que ce sont des charlatans, vendeurs d’illusion et que ça ne fonctionne pas cette histoire. En vrai il y a bcp mais alors bcp d’aventuriers dans domaine…

MAIS

Mis à part ce facteur, il en va de notre responsabilité individuelle de bien cerner et surtout prioriser ses besoins. Parfois on met la charrue avant les bœufs, payant des sommes importantes pour un tout en fermant les yeux sur nos besoins de .

It’s all matter of perspective.

The sun was out yesterday and the blue sky gave its best look in a while. Heading back home we decided to stop and get some pictures.

The snapshots were punctuated by some improvised creative direction😄. “Come closer” or “take a step back”, we were saying, just to capture the perfect angle so to speak. After a few minutes we continued strolling and heading home.

When looking back at the pictures in my gallery, I could see the flaws and the stunning ones😌.

It was great to see how angles and proximity can change the feel of an image.

Just like anything in life, how close or how far we are from a story, a situation or a person will certainly determine the quality of the output, the interpretation and what we do with the perceived information.

Sometimes you just have to step back and watch how things will unfold. Other times you step in and get your hands dirty.

In the face of adversity what is your automatic response? Get closer or farther?

THIS TOO SHALL PASS

In the heat of the moment it never feels like things will be brighter.

For the past six months I’ve been struggling with my landlord over a couple of things. Blessed are thee homeowners 🙌🏾 Blessed are the renters whose landlord is stree-free for they shall sleep in peace 😅

This lady made me go through all sorts of emotions threatening to sue me and all the likes.

So on this faithful day last week, I woke up to a broken family picture frame (last slide) and I knew from the early hours of the day it was going to be a tough day.

The immediate thought that came to mind was even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death… it’s a shadow… not the real thing so I’ll be fine 🙌🏾

Literally all hell broke loose that day.

From technicians abandoning work site and leaving my apartment in shambles, to being locked out of the apartment with all the keys inside the apartment.

I remember telling the young men helping me out this phrase. “Let me go and cook you guys a meal, come eat, then go home. As for me I’ll get indoors, cry and pray. We’ll see tomorrow.”

That’s what we did.

That night I simply told God: I’m your child, help me out. Handle this landlord, find technicians. I’m not an orphan. So just help me please.

And He did his daddy duties to perfection.

Any storm never seems to hide a rainbow. But remember that there are better days ahead.

Even if the valley seems to be the longest phase of your life right now, keep pushing.

Keep believing

Keep showing up

The story is still being written

The testimony is still loading

The congratulations messages are on their way

And you’ll say : FINALLY IT HAS HAPPENED

guess what? It’s time to kick that fear out and turn the spotlight on your potential! 💡

Firstly, acknowledging the fear is like turning on the lights in a dark room. 🕯️ It’s not a monster; it’s just an emotion playing dress-up. Once you name it, you’ve got the power! 💪 Let’s call it “Bob” for fun. Bob, the fear of failure, isn’t your enemy; he’s more like a nervous sidekick. (My apologies to any Bob that’ll be reading this lol)

So, identifying Bob’s tricks is like learning a scammer’s secrets. 🎩 He loves exaggerating consequences, making you think failure equals catastrophe. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t! 🚨 Recognize his dramatic flair, and suddenly, the fear loses its grip. 👋

Ever tried a gratitude list? 📝 Bob hates that!

Gratitude is like kryptonite to him. Remind yourself of past wins and lessons – they’re your superhero cape against the fear. Remember that time you aced that project? Yeah, you’re a rockstar! 🌟

You did great that time, you can do great again. It was all you. Not luck. Of course with a dash of grace

Think of failure as a stepping stone, not a stumbling block. 🚶‍♂️ Each stumble teaches you a dance move for the grand finale – success! 🕺 So, dust off those mishaps and dance your way to victory. 💃🏾

February sounds like victory ✌️

Imagine the fear as a GPS recalculating your route. 🗺️ Failure might be a detour, but it often leads to the scenic route of growth. 🌄 Trust the journey, and you’ll reach destinations you never dreamed of. 🚗

In the end, my fellow action takers (finally got a name for y’all hahaha - laughing in influencer/content creator voice), fear of failure is just a blip on your success radar. 📡
