TO ALL GCE CANDIDATES, PARENTS, AND GENERAL STAKEHOLDERS

The GCE Board wishes to inform the general public, especially candidates of the 2026 session, that results are not yet released as announced by some fake social media platforms.

In the meantime, stakeholders are strongly advised to adhere to the following directives:

* Stay Calm:
*Avoid unnecessary anxiety as the Board finalizes it's processes.

* Ignore Rumors:
* Disregard any unverified information or fake results circulating on social media.

* Rely on Official Channels:
*Trust only the official communication platforms of the Board for accurate, authentic and real-time updates.

🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE | SCAM ALERT 🚨
The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Board strongly advises candidates, parents, teachers, and the general public to disregard the fraudulent radio announcement circulating on social media regarding the release of the 2026 GCE examination results.

This document is fake, unauthorized, and intended to mislead and cause confusion among academic stakeholders.

Official Disclaimer/important public Notice.

The message below is not an official communication from the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Board.

- National Examination Boards do not authorize individuals, independent coordinators, or third parties to alter, upgrade, or "follow up" on candidate marks after exams are written.

- Secured Marking Process: The marking, grading, and compilation systems are strictly confidential, heavily monitored, and automated. No individual can access or manipulate results for a fee.

- Financial Risk: Engaging with individuals who promise to change results in exchange for money (such as requests via phone or mobile money) is a common fraudulent scheme.

- Academic Consequences: Attempting to alter official Examination results or participating in exam malpractice can lead to a multi-year ban from sitting for future exams, and legal prosecution.

The selection process for Secretariat Work for the marking of the *2026 GCE Board Examinations* has been completed.

Those who applied are hereby informed to verify whether they have been selected by using the GCE Board payment portal:

*All selected applicants are requested to report to their respective marking centres on Tuesday 14th July 2026 at 7:30 AM prompt for the commencement of work.*

Selected applicants are advised to respect the reporting time and come along with the following required documents:

👉Printed receipt
👉Photocopy of National ID card

INTEGRITY OF THE GCE MARKING AND SCORING PROCESSES.

GCE Board wishes to inform:

- All candidates,
- Parents,
- School authorities,
- The general public;

that they maintain a strict policy of absolute integrity during the Marking and Scoring of scripts. Stakeholders MUST take note of the following critical information:

NO MODIFICATION OF GRADES

- Marks awarded by Examiners based on the official Marking Guides are final.
- The Board does not change, upgrade, or modify marks under any circumstances.
- All final scores reflect only the actual performance of the candidate.

FRAUD WARNING.

- Disregard individuals claiming they can alter, influence, or upgrade GCE Examination results.
- Anyone asking for money to change grades is a fraudster.-
- Report any extortion attempts immediately to law enforcement or Board officials.

PUNITIVE MEASURES.

- Candidates involved in grade-alteration scams risk immediate sanctions
- Accomplices and fraudsters will face criminal prosecution under the law.

The GCE Board remains committed to delivering fair, transparent, and credible results. Do not compromise your future by engaging with scammers.

ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY ON GRADE MODIFICATION SCAMS

GCE Board wishes to inform:

- All examination officials,
- Candidates, and;
- The general public;

that severe legal and disciplinary sanctions will be enforced against anyone involved in grade modification scams. Recent investigations reveal fraudulent networks operating on social media platforms, particularly WhatsApp, promising to alter examination results for financial gain.

SANCTIONS FOR EXAMINATION OFFICIALS AND EXAMINERS

- Instant termination of employment and revocation of teaching licenses.
- Arrest and prosecution for corruption, forgery, and breach of trust.
- Forfeiture of all retirement benefits and state pensions.

SANCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC

- Immediate nullification of all examination papers.
- Ban from sitting for any national examination for up to three (3) years.
- Criminal prosecution for conspiracy and fraud.

THE WHATSAPP GROUP CLAUSE

- Being a member of a WhatsApp group dedicated to grade modification constitutes complicity.
- Group admins will be held directly responsible for facilitating cybercrime and fraud.
- Group members are subject to investigation, interrogation, and disqualification if they fail to exit and report the group immediately.

We urge the public to report any suspicious activities, extortion attempts, or fraudulent WhatsApp links to the nearest education authority or directly to GCE Board officials. Protect the integrity of our merit system.
